Roman sighed and brushed his wavy locks back. His last class was rather boring and need more "action" as he liked to say. History never appealed to Roman the way it did to Logan, the only time he really paid attention was when the topics of wars came into view. Sure, he himself would never end up into a battle worthy of being put into a book, but he did like to daydream about it. The only battles he found himself in were trials set up by his stage director.
Boy did Roman love to act, he could spend his whole life upon the stage, and that is what he planned to do. He loved entertaining all those who watches his plays, and he hoped to bring that into his career. Whether it's upon a stage or behind a camera Roman was always proud of his work.
"So much for that class, he basically did nothing but slept while he droned on about his lesson." Roman grumbled as he made his way to the theatre. Rehearsing would lighten his mood he thought as he opened the door to backstage. Props were littered on the floor, obstructing the view of the stage itself behind curtains that we drawn. A very light noise of a piano being played softly drifted into his ears, 'Someone must've left the auto play on. ' he thought. Roman dodged between castle gates and pillars made from the art students, resting his eyes upon the very tall curtains. These curtains separated the stage from the back, where props would be set to make the scenes look "livelier".
Pushing the curtains back ever so gently he gawked to where the piano played on. A man, small in frame but still keeping his boyish features, twiddled keys, twisting the notes into a melodic tune. His eyes were closed, obviously deep in his playing not even noticing Roman staring. "You play beautifully." Roman automatically said.
The boy jumped, his eyes snapping open, the piano music stopping abruptly. "Oh, I'm sorry to interrupt. You just played so gracefully I couldn't help but compliment. Say, are you in band, because that talent shouldn't be overlooked." Roman droned on his foot tapping with excitement. The boy just stared back confusion and what looked like... fear. "Dear me, I forgot to introduce myself," Roman smacked his head, and then bowed "my name is Roman Saez, and you are?" He lifted his head as he was still in his bowed position. Not hearing an answer, he stood back up and brush his pants off, embarrassed a bit.
The boy just played with his thumbs avoiding Roman's gaze as he backed up, "I'm sorry I didn't know that the drama class was starting just yet, I'll get out of your hair." he said, flipping his dyed purple hair back. "Oh no, it's quite okay I was just coming here early so I can rehearse a bit before-" at this moment Roman was interrupted by the bell ringing and hearing the familiar clatter of students exiting their previous class.
Roman cursed at himself and shook his head, "Hey look, sorry that you can't rehearse because of me, I'll just go ahead and leave, prince charming." the boy smirked, his eyes flashing a bit of mischief. Roman blinked unsure and then smirked as well," What's that name for, emo?" "Wow, very original." "I still haven't gotten your name yet." Roman said, hoping to learn a bit more about this stranger.
The boy was backing up more quickly now that students were filing into the theatre, "Virgil Anderson, see you later Roman." Virgil said as he turned around and left through the backstage door.
Roman stood there and smiled onward to where Virgil had just left at, not even paying attention to the students that were watching him. "Uh hey Roman, are we going to practice or not?" One woman asked, as she put her hair back in a ponytail. "Hm, yes of course, let's get on shall we." he exclaimed, already escaping his trance.
