Chapter 8

Roman huffed out, feeling just as frustrated as Logan. He had just texted Patton and him that Remus would be joining them all during lunch. Remus gave no insight as to why he wanted to see them all. That simple text Remus sent Roman got him all stirred up during theatre class that he ended up snapping at some people. Obviously, they understood the situation knowing Roman never acted grudgingly without a reason.
Storming out of the auditorium he passed many unknowing faces who looked at him worried. Roman was well known throughout the university due to his plays, musicals, and singing scores. He grunted out whenever he heard a voice ask out, "Yo, something up?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?" he answered back, willing to let the venom drip from his voice.
"Yeah, actually, I would like to know. When I first met you, you were all Happy-Go-Lucky." Virgil grumbled back, not too happy to be given attitude for no reason.
Roman spun around and glared at him before realizing that he was only defending himself. He sighed and bowed a bit, mumbling his apology, Virgil brushing it off.
"It's fine, princey. Was just wondering if you were doing okay."
"I am, my brother just ended up surprising me with deciding to see me again." he answered, massaging the bridge of his nose.
"Oh, and is that terrible?" Virgil asked smirking, and oh there goes Roman watching those plump lips so closely.
"Yeah, don't even let me get into the details. He is very annoying." Roman answered, only to scoff when Virgil said," Wow, must run in the family."
Virgil turned around to where he originally was standing. A small balcony with a small bench, used for students who want to study quietly and look at all the beautiful scenery. Birds flutter in the sky, Virgil watching intently on every one of their movements.
"Oh, I just remembered, here take this." Roman said, searching through his pockets. He pulled out a small flier and handed it to Virgil who slowly opened it. Roman smiled and sprung up whenever Virgil finished reading the flier, "It's to my upcoming play, and I'd like for you to be there. You can finally see all the work I had been working on and maybe even meet my friends. I think they would like you, and I'd like to know you a little bit better myself." He said with a wink that wasn't unnoticed.
Virgil's cheeks dusted over with a light pink and he nodded, "Uh, yea sure I'll be there." he said in a hurry without thinking. Roman smiled and pulled out his phone, checking the time.
"Ugh, uh yea. I'll see you later, I have to go see the idiot in question. I shall see you here, at 5 tomorrow." Roman announced, gracefully speed walking down the hall.
Virgil smacked his head as he looked back down at the flier, 'Way to go, you idiot. Just think of what you got yourself into now. You might not be able to talk yourself out of this mistake.' he thought to himself sighing.
