Logan huffed out as he tapped the eraser end of his pencil on his test. His eyes skimmed over the answers and he sighed before he stood up, satisfied with his work. He headed down the small steps of stairs separating the students from the teachers platform. He handed his paperwork to his professor gaining him a stoic expression, one he answered back with a nod, and he walked back up the stairs to his table. Logan sat down and pulled out his phone, the screen brightening up to show multiple texts.
Roman: Yo nerd, when do you get off for lunch break
Roman: Me and Pat were wondering if you wanted to join us in the cafeteria
Roman: Pat wanted to say hi
Logan chuckled silently at the last text and began to type back his response.
Logan: Of course, I can meet you in around 15 minutes I suppose. My class ends in under 5 minutes which gives me ample time to gather my things and meet you there, and tell Patton that I texted hello back as well.
He stuffed the phone back into his pocket, gathered his books and shoved them into his backpack. He unwrapped his hair, letting the bun fall down to his shoulders, moved his bangs the right way and rewrapped his hair once again back into the neatly tied bun. Just as he texted the bell rung exactly in under 5 minutes and he stood up, slinging the backpack over his shoulder and began to make his way out of the classroom to the cafeteria.
"Logan Williams could you please wait a moment?" asked a calm voice. Logan turned around, pushing his glasses back up looking at his professor. "I've noticed that you've aced this test, as well as your many others. I just have one simple question to ask you before you leave my class, what do you have planned for your future?" the woman asked, her dirty blonde hair framing her square face. "I plan to become a professor for a college such as this, ma'am." Logan answered shortly after he thought on his wording. The professor hummed, "A good plan to have for someone as smart as you, you are dismissed," Logan nodded heading out of the classroom, "but remember, don't let anything get in your way, and I mean anything." Logan's eyebrows furrowed at that statement, but he shook it off and headed out.
