All that exists, exists on a spectrum. We constantly assess and analyse ourselves and our experiences against this continuum. This continuum of duality, is enforced and encourage. We use it to simply and explain, to categorise and to create order. And while it is useful, it is also limiting. It removes nuance and complexity, textures and layers, and all that comes between.
And I am always somewhere inbetween, as I explore and experience the curiousities of this human experience. I am learning;
When I let go of thoughts and endless preoccupations
I welcome bliss
and when I let go insecurities
I welcome connection
When I let go of all the preconceptions
Expectations and ideas of how it all should be,
I can celebrate and delight in all that is
And when I welcome vulnerability
I farewell isolation
When I let go of seeking
I am found
When i welcome awe, wonder and joy
I am gifted presence. Life.
And with it, a gentle reminder;
It's always a choice
The choice is always mine.
