Lost Soul [COMPLETE]

Chapter 4

Ningning and Winter are watching tv in the living room while their older sister Giselle, reading a book inside the room. The living room is quite till their hear a sound, more to like someone laughing. Winter and Ningning look at each other. "You hear that Ning ? Please tell me you hear too." say Winter with shaky voice. Ningning nod her head.

Winter and Ningning look thru out the window and see a younger girl playing at outside by herself. She has pink hair, fair skin. She look shorter than Ningning. Her eyes is look like a cat eyes and it's beautiful.

They sigh in relief. They thought they hear something scary. "She look cute. I wanna talk with her." say Winter, walking to the door. "Wait. I want too." Ningning follow Winter from behind.

When Winter open the door, she didn't see the pink hair girl at outside. She look around yet she didn't see her anywhere. "Where is she ?" ask Ningning. "I don't know" say Winter.

They believe they saw pink hair girl playing at outside or could their eyes trick them. Winter close the door and they back to living room, continue watching the tv.

Meanwhile, Karina and Jiu walking around the town. Jiu show her around and Karina just follow beside her. Karina feel weird at how people stare at her but she ignore them. They went to the cafe to get some drink.

They get inside and sit at the window. While enjoying the view, Karina goes to the counter to make an order. She order ice choco with slice of chocolate cake and hot coffee with muffin.

After make an order, Karina sat facing Jiu. While waiting the order, they start talking about random stuff. "So where do you live ?" ask Jiu. Again that angelic voice of her. It make Karina melt. "This house." say Karina, showing Jiu an address of her house.

There frown on Jiu face. She give back the address to Karina. Karina look confuse at Jiu sudden behavior. She look little bit scare. "Are you okay ? What the matter ? Do you know this house too ?" ask Karina.

Jiu look down. She playing with her own hands. Karina still waiting for her answer. And before Jiu could say anything, the waitress come with their order. "Well i guess you can tell me later." say Karina. The waitress look at her with a weird face before leave.

Karina feel the stare again. It's the same like before. People stare at her like she is an alien or something. She look at Jiu who start to facing out. She clear her throat to get Jiu attention. Jiu look at her and give her a warm smile.

"Jiu, can i ask you something ?" say Karina. Jiu nod her head, giving a cue for Karina to ask anything. Karina look around once again and back to Jiu. "Why are they look at me like i was an alien or something ?" ask Karina, curiously.

Jiu almost laugh out loud at Karina question. Karina low her head, cheeks are red. "You're so cute, Karina" say Jiu who try to control her laugh. Karina still can feel heat on her face. "What ? Did i say something wrong ?" Karina trying to sound cool but fail.

Jiu shook her head and wipe tears at corner of her eyes. "I think it because you are new here. I guess." reason Jiu. She try to find another answer but she couldn't think anything. Karina nod her head and start eating.

It was late evening when Karina bought Jiu to her house. Jiu back away and stand behind Karina. She look scare. "What's wrong Jiu ?" ask Karina. "Are you okay, Jiu ?" ask Karina again.

Karina realise Jiu eyes focus at her house. Her body was trembeling and Jiu shiver in fear. She look so pale. Karina shake her body to get her attention. It when Jiu held out her hand and point at the window. Karina look at the window but see nothing.

"It's there. It's there. It's there." say Jiu again and again. "What it is ? I don't see anything, Jiu." say Karina. "It's there. It looking at us right now." say Jiu again.

Jiu see something at the window. It hair is black. It eyes look darker. Those "thing" just stare at them with it darker eyes. It seems like those "things" are mad. "I need to go." before Karina could say anything, Jiu already run away. Karina sigh and walk into her house.

At night, Karina still thinking about Jiu. What make her scare ? What she see ? Is the house really haunted ? So many thought in her mind.

Karina in her deep thought that she didn't notice her sister is standing at her doorway. There smirk on her face. She walk slowly to the bed. When she reach to the bed, she stand next to older sister and scream at her ear. Karina got scare and jump out of the bed. "AAAAAAAAAAA. What was that ?" say Karina, holding her chest.

Karina see her younger sister laughing on the floor. She roll her eyes, take the pillow and start hitting her sister. She trying to defend herself but fail. "Winter! What was that for ? You scare me you know." say Karina angrily.

Karina take her pillow and sit on her bed. Winter join her too by sit beside her older sister. Seems like Karina in deep thought again. "What are you thinking ? Did you find a cute girl in the town and start fall in love ?" tease Winter. "You, if you not my sister, i'll already kill you" threat Karina.

Winter take the pillow from Karina and ask again. "Then what are you thinking about ? You seem in deep thought." Karina let out of sigh. She don't want to scare her younger sister but she can't think anything to lie at her. "You want to know ?" ask Karina. Winter nod her head. She want to know what's in her sister mind.

"Okay, if i tell you please don't be scare." Karina at Winter, waiting for her answer. Winter just nod her head again. Karina start to tell her what the blonde hair woman see. Karina can see her younger sister start to feel scare so Karina pull her closer. Karina can feel that her body also start to trembeling.

"Are you okay, Winter ?" ask Karina with concern in her voice. She start to worry about her sister. "Do you think it's real ? I mean the "thing" that your new friend see ? It is real ?" ask Winter. "I don't think so. I don't see anything." answer Karina, still thinking about what happen early.

Winter mood changes fast. Instead look scare, she look little bit better. "Well i guess she trying to scare you. I don't think that "thing" is real, right ?. say Winter confidently. Karina nod her head. Winter is right, those "thing" is not real. It just a story to scare the children.

It was midnight. The time show at 12 o'clock. Everyone already fall asleep, except Giselle. Her throat feel dry. She get up from her bed and went to the kitchen to get some water.

She walk lazily to the kitchen. She turn the switch on. The light hurt her sleepy eyes. She adjust her eyes before walk inside. She take the glass from cabinet. When she about to pour water on her glass, the light suddenly went out.

"What the-" Giselle turn on the switch light. Few second ago, the light turn off again. Everytime Giselle turn on the light, there something will turn it off. It make Giselle feel annoyed. "Who's there ?" ask Giselle. No one answer her.

She groan and drink her water. Then it happen again. This time, light keep flikering. Giselle feel cold out of nowhere. She also sense someone is watching her. After she finish her drink, she immediately ran to her room.

She close the door and crawl up the bed. She hide under the blanket and snuggle closer to Winter who still sleeping. She look pale and her skin is cold. Winter open her eyes when she feel someone hold her little thight.

"Are you okay ? Why are you hold me too thight ? I can't breath." say Winter with sleepy voice. Giselle breath is shaky and try to find her voice. "I don't know what happen but light keep off everytime i turn it on." explain Giselle.

"I'm sorry if i wake you up but i'm really scare." say Giselle again. She hope Winter will understand her situation. Instead of saying something, Winter pull Giselle closer into her embrace. She hold her gentlely and hopefully her older sister will feel better.

Being inside Winter warm embrace make Giselle feel safe. She slowly close her eyes and fall asleep.

The night pass but the "thing" still in there, in the darkness, watching them with anger.
