You had barely gotten home from lectures when you decided to lay down on the couch and relax for a second. It had been a long week and coming home didn't seem to distress you as much as it used to. You lay there on the couch debating whether or not to take a short nap before going to work.

You closed your eyes for a second to hear your phone ring, then you opened your eyes and took your phone out of your pocket to see an incoming facetime call from Mitsuri, you smiled to yourself happy, you answered the call to hear her yelling softly, and then turn to look at the camera with the biggest smile.

"y/n," she said, and you smiled back.

"Hey"

"Are you occupied?" Mitsuri inquired.

"No, I just got back from classes, so I have a few minutes before I have to go to work." You mentioned rubbing your tired eyes.

"Oh, how's work?" she inquired, "do you like it there?"

"Yeah I do actually"

Mitsuri smiled and filled a wine glass with red wine, saying, "That's good."

"What are you up to?" You inquired, and she lifted a pan containing cooked food, saying, "We're making carbonara."

"Help me y/n she discovered that pasta at a restaurant and we've been eating it for the past three days now." You slightly laughed as Iguro said, popping up in front of the camera being dramatic.

"He's exaggerating, we only ate it last week and this week," Mitsuri said as she looked at him.

"How are you and Sanemi doing?" Iguro inquired.

"Good."

"You guys should come down here; we could show you around London; come to think of it, you guys have never been on a trip together." Iguro went on to say.

"Oh my god, you have to come, y/n," Mitsuri said cheerfully, and you smiled and nodded.

"Hey, don't forget to communicate with Sanemi." She stated giving you a specific look. Mitsuri wasn't stupid; she could tell when something wasn't right.

"I will." You simply said.

"Okay, we're going to eat dinner; I'll talk to you tomorrow, and please promise to communicate," Mitsuri spoke up, and you nodded in agreement.

"Bye y/n," Iguro said, waving as Misturi did too, and then they hung up. You sat there looking at your phone, suddenly sad, wishing you could be happy with Sanemi again like before, but then you thought of Rengoku, and what could be, you sighed standing up from the couch, you decided to take Mitsuri's advice.

You walked down the hall to the room where Sanemi was working, and you walked in to see him working hard, looking tired, and you debated whether or not to speak.

"Hey," you softly said.

"What?" he asked, already irritated by the sound of your voice.

"How's it going ?" You inquired, taking a seat on the bed quietly, attempting to avoid making any further noise that might annoy him.

"Can't you see how stressed I am?" he said, and you bit your lower lip sadly as he didn't turn to face you.

You tried to cheer him up by gently laughing, "we can go out so you can relax, we can go dine at your favorite spot, and we can do whatever you want today," you said as you approached him to gently touch his shoulder, but he shuddered back and looked at you.

"I'm not interested in going out...with you today." He said you looked at him almost pained by his words and the way he was acting, as if he didn't want to be touched by you. You were trying your hardest and he just ignored you, but all you did was nod, "Yeah, sure, that's fine, I have work anyways."
