[Kay POV:]
After school, me, PJ, Caleb, and April all chilled at home.
"Yall some boring niggas." April said.
"Shouldn't you be studying something?" Pj told her.
I guess they been dating for a while now. They cute or whatever.
"What yall hoes wanna do?" I said.
"Let's order pizza and watch Netflix." Caleb said.
"You got a soft spot or something? Next you gone say you wanna braid each other hair and tell secrets." April said. We all cracked up.
2 hours later Pj and April were all cuddled up sleep and it was just me and Caleb. We turned Netflix off and was just talking. He told me how he got into the drug dealing business.
"... My mama was drinking real bad and I had to do something to eat. Then I ran into J-dub."
"Wait. Hold up. Yall call my daddy J-dub? What the hell?"
"I thought you knew."
"Hell naw I didn't know. You wanna go out back?"
"Yeah let's go."
Me and Caleb walked out by the pool and put our feet in.
"So when you went AWOL that day, you were with Aliyah?"
"Yeah. Her clingy ass."
"Don't fuck with her. She's bad news. And a hoe. She been trying to get with my brother for the longest."
"Really? Thanks for the heads up."
"No problem.
"So why you don't have a boy friend? You're pretty and cool."
"I don't know. I guess I've just never had a good experience with boys."
"Can I change that?"
And he leaned in and kissed me.
