Chapter 3

[Kaydin POV:]
After 8th period was over, I went to the locker room and got changed for basketball practice. We had a game in a couple of days so we needed the practice. I started stretching while the rest of the girls came out. The Thottie Twins Mariah and Mya played basketball too. They pretty good. But not better than me.

I'm on varsity of course and they are too. Point Guard #7. After we stretched, we shot lay ups, free throws, 3 pointers, all that good stuff. And before you knew it, it was 5:30. Time to go home. I didn't bother changing clothes since I was going straight home anyways. I got my stuff and went to my car and waited for April since she had cheer practice again.

When she came out we swung by Taco Bell to grab a bite to eat then we both went to my house. She stayed the night tonight. As soon as we got home, she went to my bathroom and took a long ass shower.
"You got some nerve coming to my house and taking over my bathroom."
"Awe, girl shut up. You know I practically live here myself. So this is OUR bathroom."
"Whatever hoe. Just hurry up."
"Don't rush me."
April took ENTIRELY too long so I went to my Ma bathroom and took a quick shower. She wasn't there anyways. After I got out, I seen April on my bed looking thru Netflix trying to find a movie to watch.
"What you find?"
"Nothing yet. Wanna watch a scary movie?"
"It really don't matter."
"Cabin in the Woods it is then."
I went to go pop some popcorn and came back upstairs in just enough time. It was my first time seeing the movie and it was hella scary. I couldn't sleep so we just stayed up till 2 talking knowing that we had school in the morning.

[Unknown POV:]

I was in Chicago handling some business for my main Man. He always got something for me to handle. I got a phone call from him:
"Aye wassup younging?"
"Nothing just made the last drop."
"Everything went smooth?"
"Yeah. Had to break a couple of bones but everything Gucci."
"Alright. When you come back down we gotta have a talk."
This sounded serious.
"Alright J-dub. You straight?"
"Yeah man. I got a plane ticket emailed to you for Oakland at 10 in the morning. Sound good?"
"Yeah."
"Alright hit me up when you land."
"Bet."
I know something up with J-dub cause this shit don't sound right.

[PJ POV:]

Kaydin fine ass friend April stayed the night. It took everything in me to not attack that ass. I mean yeah she like 3 years younger than me, but she 18 so she can make her own decisions. Right? Well I'm guessing she woke up before Kay cause she was in the kitchen when I walked down there.
"Oh wassup April?"
"Hey PJ."
"What's been up?"
"Oh nothing. I had some trouble sleeping so I came down here for some milk."
"Milk? Really?"
"Yeah. Don't laugh."
"Haha don't worry, ma."
"What's been up with you?"
"Same old same old. Ready to go to boot camp for the Army."
"Oh, that's what you decided on?"
"Yeah. Ima be making bread."
"Good for you."
"Yeah. Hey you wanna go out Saturday night? Like on a date?"
"I don't know. Gimme your number and I'll let you know."
"Alright."
I don't know what's different about her, but she not like all these other sloppy females. She down to earth. I can see me with her.

[Kaydin POV:]

When I woke up, I seen April walking into the room with a big ass smile on her face.
"Why the hell you so happy this early in the morning?"
"Mind ya damn business."
"Look hefa, you in my house."
"Look hefa, you in my business."
"Lol, girl I love you."
"Lol, this I know."
We got dressed and headed out. I had on some purple skinny jeans with a crop top floral print shirt and some gold flats and April had on a black and white skater skirt with a baby blue top and some baby blue sandals. We looked good if I do say so myself. We stopped by Dunkin Donuts to get some breakfast and ate in my car in the school parking lot. When we got done the first bell had rung and we started our day.

[April POV:]

Yeah I like PJ a lot, but he got hoes. I don't know if I can deal with all that. But hey, you never know till you try, right? So I sent him a text.
Me- Hey so about that date..
PJ- What about it?
Me- I decided to go. 😊
PJ- Thats wassup! 💯😊
Me- So where we going?
PJ- That's for me to know and you to find out. 😏
Me- What should I wear?
PJ- A dress.
Me- Okay. 😊😘
PJ- I'll pick you up around 6.
Me- See you then.
PJ- Okay beautiful. 😍
I really was looking forward to this date!

[J-dub POV:]

I got a phone call from my boy Caleb. He been down with me for about 2 years. He been working for me since he was 17 and he was a better worker then the old cats.
"Wassup C?"
"I just landed."
"Alright come to the trap."
"Be there in 20."
*20 Minutes Later.*
"Aye J-dub?" Caleb yelled.
"In the kitchen." I called back.
"Wassup big homie?"
"Just counting my paper."
"Alright man whatchu had to talk to me about?"
"Alright. I don't know how to tell you this but... I'm dying."
