Chapter 6

*Saturday Morning.*

[PJ POV:]

I woke up with a big ass smile on my face cause today is the day I got a date with April. I know I've been on a lot o other dates before, but April is different. I really don't know why. I gotta look my best for her. Wait. What did I just say? Oh shit. She got me tripping. Let me so sign myself up for a mental institution.

It was around 11 when I decided to hit her up. I just asked her if she was excited for tonight, but she only said yeah. Bull shit. I know this girl probably trying on 17 different outfits.

[April POV:]

I was so excited for my date that I didn't know what to wear so I called up Kay to see if she wanted to swing by the mall with me.
"Hello?"
"Hey Kay."
"Wassup?"
"You wanna go to the mall with me later? I have no idea what to wear for this date."
"Yeah, but I got a game later so we can't stay too long."
"Alright girl. Pick me up in 30?"
"Please?"
"Pleeeaassseee."
"Lol, alright but yo ass better be ready this time."
"I gotcha." And I hung up.

[Kaydin POV:]

Since I was going to my game when I left the mall, I just decided to wear some grey basketball shorts, a black v-neck, and some slides.

When i got to April house, she was waiting outside.
"Well look who's ready for the first time"
"And look who's late."
"So what mall we going to?"
"Central."
"Okay."

We were there in a little under 10 minutes and starting shopping. We went into Body Central and April tried on about 6 different dressed until she decided on a loose fitting, navy blue dress that stopped at her knees that came with a brown waist belt and some brown sandals. Baby girl cute.

It was 4 when we left so I dropped her home and went in with her since I didn't have to be at school till 5 and her date was 6.
"You excited?" I asked curiously.
"Girl hell yeah."
"I know. My brother is fine."
"But... Why you ain't?"
"Don't playa hate homie."

April got dressed and came out the bathroom like 20 minutes later.
"Alright how this look?"
"Girl you look cuttteeeee! PJ gone tryna do something so look out."
"Can you flat iron my hair?"
"Yeah I gotchu."
10 minutes later April was fully dress and I snapped a couple of pictures and left for my game. I hope they have fun tonight. But not too much fun.
