Chapter 7

*Saturday Night.*

[April POV:]

It was 6 on the dot when PJ pulled up. When I answered the door, he had on a pink and purple button down Polo shirt, some Levi's, and some Jordan's. I'm not much of a sneaker head so i don't know what kind.
"Hey April." He said nervously.
"Hey PJ"
"These are for you." And he handed me some roses.
"Aww. How sweet. Thanks."
"No problem. You ready?"
"Yeah let me lock up."

When I walked to the car, he opened the door for me.
"Such a gentleman."
"I try, I try." He said chucking.

He jogged around the other side and we pulled off. On the way there I was so nervous I was tapping my finger.
"You good Ma?" He asked.
"Yeah I'm straight." I lied.
"You keep tapping your finger."
"It's a habit." I'm surprised he noticed.
"Maybe I can help you get out of that."
"How?" I asked. Then he reached over and grabbed my hand. We rode hand in hand until we got there.

Now I see why he wanted to have the date at 6. We had a beach date. He had a picnic set up on the beach just in time for the sunset. How romantic is that!?

[PJ POV:]

Yeah I had a beach picnic set up for us. I just wanted this to be special for her.

I went around and opened the door for her and held her hand guiding her to the spot.
"This is so beautiful, PJ." She said in amazement. She is so beautiful man. If she wasn't my lil sister best friend I would try to get some, but I ain't.
"Wanted it to be special." I replied.

We sat and talked and laughed for about 30 minutes.

"So you ready to go?"
"Over already?"
"Nope. I got more in store." I said with a smirk on my face. Which I did. I was taking her to this new restaurant that just opened up.
"Where we going next?" She asked.
"You'll see."

The drive there was short. I walked in the restaurant with her hand in mine.

"So this yo new girl?" I heard a familiar voice say.

Aww shit. This thot Aliyah. She been messing with me ever since I hit it and quit it. She wasn't nothing but a quick fuck to me.

"Man what you doing here?" I asked.
"My family owns the restaurant. Why hello April." She said sarcastically.
"Hi." April said dryly.
"Are you guys having fun tonight?" She asked with a smirk on her face.
"Why? Why in the hell does it matter to you?" April shot back. I ain't know Ma had an attitude like that. I like it.
"Don't get smart sweetie. Remember, you in my restaurant." She said quickly.
"Not for long." April said grabbing my wrist and walking out.

When we got outside I stopped her and pulled her around towards me.
"Wassup with you and Aliyah?" I asked curiously.
"Just another hating bitch." She said through gritted teeth.

I pulled her waist close to me.

"You ain't got nothing to worry about. She ain't getting me."
"Why is that?" She said with a smile on her face.
"Cause I'm already yours." I said kissing her lips. Yeah I got her now.
