"Hey Jeonghan! What brings you here?" Jisoo asked while cleaning the counter in front of his friend. He is basically the owner slash the bartender of the gay bar that Jeonghan always go to whenever he's down.
"I'm just sad and I need a drink. The usual please" he answered and Jisoo guessed already what Jeonghan is going through.
"I'm guessing, Seungcheol?" he asked and Jeonghan nodded, not even wanting to have an eye contact with his friend.
"I told you to just leave the house. What's stopping you from breaking up with him, you already witnessed him cheating on you" said Jisoo and Jeonghan bit his lip because for all we know, his friend is right.
"I-I love him and I don't know what will happen to me if I ever break up with him that he's just willing to accept. I'm afraid" Jisoo then gave him a napkin and his drink, rubbing circles on his back.
"I totally understand what you feel. Whatever you're feeling right now is valid, Han but you should prioritize your happiness here. You're not even happy with your decision to stay so why force yourself? You're relying too much to a person who doesn't even give a fuck about what you feel"
As soon as he heard that last sentence from Jisoo, he sobbed. All of the pain and heartaches he have gone through flashed back and it attacked him multiple times.
"Han, you know I just want you to be happy. I want you to express yourself more like what you usually are. Seokmin and I are willing to adopt you if you're worrying about a place to stay. The house is always open for you" then he gave Jeonghan a one last pat then got back inside the counter to serve drinks.
"Hannie hyung? I'm glad you're here! I am with someone!" it was Seokmin who's smile is as bright as the biggest star existing. "You won't believe who I am with right now"
Seokmin then turned around but Jeonghan is too weak to even look around so he just drank his glass and he did not even paid attention to what his friend is saying.
"Jeonghan hyung I want you to meet Kim Mingyu" Seokmin stated and Jeonghan looked up, meeting those familiar eyes that he never knew he'll be seeing right now.
I'm a mess. I can't meet him like this.
"Wow it's been ages, hyung. Your beauty still never faded. It's just the same as I remember" god that voice.
Jeonghan then hid his face with the napkin that Jisoo handed him awhile ago and looked at Mingyu's eyes once again before lowering his head to avoid the younger's gaze.
"I can say the same to you. But yeah you're taller now" he shyly replied and Mingyu chuckled.
"Of course. I still remembered what you said to me the day you and Seungcheol hyung got into relationship. You said I'm too young for you and you can't date your student that's why I worked hard abroad. Just for you" Jeonghan's eyes widened and inmediately he stood up.
"That's... that will always be my answer to you, Mingyu. You've grown up yeah and you got older but I got older too. For me you're still my student. That will never change" he answered but Mingyu stood up too, to hold Jeonghan on both of his shoulders. Which Jeonghan was taken aback.
"I don't care hyung. Whatever you say, you can't stop me from liking you. Just let me like you and that's enough for me. I came back for you because I have to. I will always wait for you, even if it's forever, remember that" Mingyu muttered and Jeonghan was so surprised at how matured he got over the years. Jeonghan blushed at that but he brushed it off, not wanting Mingyu to tale a hint that he just got flustered at what the younger have said.
"Fine. Do whatever you want, Mingyu. I just hope you find someone better and deserving. Do not waste your time over someone who can't reciprocate the love you have for them" Jeonghan replied and took off Mingyu's hands over him. "I'm going home. Seungcheol's probably waiting for me. Just tell the couple that I already left. It's nice meeting you"
