Robin slopped a scoop of ice cream into a cone for Erica Sinclair, infamous to us three for her impossible behaviours. She repeatedly asked for more samples, but we let it slide seeing as she's Lucas' little sister. But, then again, we could refuse her as the kids were pushing the limits with the cinema.
Steve and Dustin were in the back, trying to solve a Russian code which they had excluded me and Robin out of. Stupid, really. We could speak six languages fluently between us.
"Have a nice day," I said sarcastically to Erica and her friends as she pays me with a frown on her face. She walks off with her group and I turn to Robin in exasperation. "I can't deal with her anymore," I said, groaning at the thought of having to deal with that little brat.
"Don't worry," Robin told me, a small smirk on her face. "Come with me." She walked out from behind the counter, and into the backroom, me right behind her.
"You're going to have to do your job for a bit, man," I said to Steve and Dustin to where they were behind the steel table in the centre of the room. Steve had a banana stuffed into his mouth, making his speech to Dustin muffled.
"Hey, my board!" Robin exclaimed. "That was important data, shitbirds." She looked at the pair, Steve trying to appear innocent. Dustin, on the other hand, looked fed up and tired. I understood, I too would have been exhausted in trying to decode a language I had never heard before.
"I guarantee, what we're doing is way more important than your... board," the teenager declared, he was tired with having to talk to everyone when all he wanted was to hang out with his friends and crack the case together.
"Oh, yeah? And how do you know these Russians are up to no good anyways?"
