Robin shakes me awake, saying something about being late. I groan, and turn over in the comfortable bed, putting the pillow over my head.
"Come on, y/n!" Robin shouts, tugging the pillow off my head and the duvet off my body. I grab the duvet back and crawl into a ball, the duvet around me. I remind myself of a dumpling. "Steve!" she yells. I can hear Steve run in, skidding on the wooden floor. "She won't get out of bed," she tells him.
"Y/n, get out of bed," he instructs.
"No," I say grumpily.
"Fine," he said and all goes silent. I furrow my brows, confused on why they've left me alone. Then, I get picked up.
"Put me down!" I scream. I try and kick whoever it is but the duvet restricts my moves.
"We're going to be late for work if you don't move your ass!" Steve says. I stay quiet. He throws me onto the bed and snatches the quilt off of me. I hiss at him. "Chop, chop," he shouts, clapping his hands for emphasis.
I get off the bed and run to Robin, kneeling in front of her as if I am praying. I told her hands in mine and look up at her with puppy eyes.
"You're not getting back into bed," she says.
I groan and walk to the wardrobe where there is one of my old shirts and trousers in there. I gave Steve some of my old clothes so that if there was ever an emergency, I'd have something wear. I turn to Robin.
"What?" she asks.
"Get out," I say.
"What?!" she repeats yet does so anyway.
