"Flight 106 arriving from Los Angeles. Please proceed to baggage carousel number two." An announcer said over the intercom.

Steve is pacing waiting for someone.

HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Steve continues to wait, looking around as people exit.

Soon enough he is the only one as a suitcase comes up and he looks at it upset.

"Commander McGarrett?" Someone said from behind him causing him to turn around seeing an airport cop making him let out a sigh.

"This is about my sister, isn't it?" Steve asked.

"She disabled a smoke detector onboard in the bathroom, which is a federal offense. So we arrested her as soon as she landed." The cop said as he leads Steve to where his sister is being held.

"Great," Steve said with a sigh.

The cop opens the door as Steve's sister talks.

"Jail are you serious? It was just a cigarette." She said.

Steve walks in holding her suitcase.

"Okay, Officer, I think we... we're good now," Steve said walking over to them putting her suitcase down.

"Steve McGarrett with the Governors task force. You can release her into my custody." Steve said.

"Let me check with my supervisor." The cop said.

"Thank you," Steve said as the cops leave and Steve turns to his sister crossing his arms giving her a look

She looks down.

"I'm sorry, I messed up." She said as Steve looks in the other direction sitting down on the table.

"I missed you at dad's funeral, Mare," Steve said looking at her.

"Yeah, well, something came up." She said before laughing bitterly.

"You know the last time I saw you was at Mom's funeral. I guess that's the way we do our family reunions. Cause I was thinking it could've been cool to have a picnic in between or something, you know." Mare said.

"A picnic?" Steve asked looking at her.

"Yeah, a picnic something that normal families do?" Mary said and Steve looks away.

HAWAII MEDICAL CENTER

Inside the building, in the doctor's office showing an X-ray of Danny's knee.

The doctor turns to him.

"How did you say you were injured, again?" He asked.

"Well originally playing high school baseball, but uh, it hasn't bothered me in a really long time," Danny said.

"Anything traumatic recently, with the knee?" The doctor asked standing up

"Yeah actually, I have a new partner," Danny said and the doctor chuckles.

"I was thinking more of a physical injury." The doctor said.

"No, no, this guy is like a physical injury , Doc. Ten minutes after me and another person that I met the other guy I get shot and blasted backwards through a window, okay? A few hours after that, the guy drove a car---not joking---onto the deck of a Chinese freighter ship. And yes me and the other person were in it. The car, not the ship." Danny said.

"He drove a car onto a boat?" The doctor asked crossing his arms.

"Yeah, he's an animal. And I'm sorta getting the feeling that he's just just getting warmed up." Danny said.
