Two weeks later
"What the hell happened?" Delaney said as she came into the hospital room her dad was admitted to.
"Your father had another heart attack. Dr Barnes is waiting for the results of his angiogram." Alice said
"Dad..they told you to lay off the burgers and you haven't. You are a former doctor you know these things." Delaney said
"You should listen to her. She's right the left side isn't clogged that bad but because we didn't unclog the other side cause it wasn't bad we didn't unclog that artery." Bucky said
Delaney looked down. "Dad I can find you someone else..we have other heart surgeons." Delaney said
"Delaney Quinn Peterson." Alice said
"I want Dr Barnes Dela so no.." Albert said
Delaney just shook her head. "Have them page me later mom." Delaney said as she walked out.
Albert looked to Alice. "My daughter..stubborn and independent as they come." Albert said
"She gets it from you." Alice said
"Our only child, bless her heart I'm starting to wonder if the divorce and her loss she suffered last year has turned her cold." Albert said
Bucky was writing in Albert's chart trying to ignore him. But in the back of his mind he was thinking if her ex cheated and that's why she's angry with him.
