Two weeks later
"Okay, Dr Sadie Barnes and Dr James Barnes now that the divorce papers are signed. We need to discuss dividing of the assets and custody." Judge Hutcherson said
"My client has already made a list of what he wants." Colby Dawson said (Bucky's lawyer)
"Go ahead Mr Dawson." Judge Hutcherson said
"He said that he would like for her to keep the house,her car and they signed a pre nup when they got married so she gets to keep what ever money is hers. He wants to keep the house in the Hamptons." Mr Dawson said
"Seems reasonable. What do you think Sadie?" Quinn Presley said (Sadie's lawyer)
"Yeah seems fair." She said in a low tone.
"Okay now that is out of the way. Let's discuss custody..I've spoken with the two older ones. Both Kannon and Memphis both have expressed that they would rather live with their father. I won't go into further detail in what they said because I don't want to cause a ruckus. Little Caroline is to young for me to ask the question. But with that being said you both requested joint custody. But I am granting James as the residential parent which means the three kids will live with him most of the time. Sadie you will have them on the weekends." Judge Hutcherson said as he wrote it all down.
"Okay you both will receive copies of the custody agreement and the finalized divorce papers." Judge Hutcherson said
Bucky was the first one out the door as he was already late for work. When he got into the doctor's lounge to change into scrubs. Sam was there
"Hey man.." Sam said
"Hey.." he said
"How did it go?" Sam said
"Great. The only satisfying thing is the kids don't want to live with her." He said as he clipped his badge on his pocket and walked out.
After work Bucky and the guys helped him move into a new place that wasn't far from his parents. His brothers came and helped too after they were done working. He picked up the kids from his former residence that he shared with Sadie. They picked up pizza and headed to their new place.
The next morning at work Natasha told Bucky that Sadie transferred hospitals.
"Why?" He said
"Something about how she didn't want to see you with your mistress." Nat said
Bucky smirked and shook his head. "It was one time and she doesn't even speak to me. All I get is icy cold attitude and death glares." Bucky said as he sipped his coffee.
