Around 4AM Bucky's Apple Watch vibrated and pinged. He woke up when he heard it.
"Did you really get a hotel room?"
It was a text from Steve who had just gotten home from work. Bucky looked around to see he wasn't in a hotel room or an on call room. He saw a sleeping naked Delaney.
"Fuck me.." he thought
He quietly got up and pulled on his clothes. Once he realized Delaney lived in a brownstone on the Upper East side. He got a Uber back to the hospital where he hooked himself up with a banana bag in his office and went back to sleep.
When Delaney woke up alone she didn't think anything of it. She figured he had somewhere to be she got the vibes he had a pretty demanding job. She took a quick shower and left for the office. She was at the office all day since her cousin Zara was the doctor on call at the hospital.
Steve found Bucky coming out of his office.
"Hey..where did you stay?" Steve said
"My office.." Bucky said as he went to get coffee.
Bucky had several surgeries that morning as well as ER patients that came through. He also had a few consultations from patients that were out of town. Bucky spent the day trying to avoid Sadie while Delaney spent the day working and ignoring the fact that she did something she swore she would never do go home with a complete stranger.
