The silence between me and Ray was stiff. I felt like my breathing was too loud.
"So..." Ray sighs, "How long have you two been... Together?" Rays asks.
"We've been dating for three months." I admit.
Ray's breath hitches. I understand why he's upset. I should have told him that Frank and I are an item. It just... It didn't cross my mind.
"I'm happy for you." Ray finally looks me in the eye.
"You are?" I ask.
"Yeah, of course I am. I have no right to be upset about your relationship. I support you both one hundred percent. You guys are my closest friends, I shouldn't push you both away just because you guys got together." Ray says with a smile.
"Thank Ray. It means a lot." I'm not sure if I should hug him or just leave him alone.
Ray slightly raises his hand, "High five?" He asks.
"Of course man." Our hands slap together.
"My shift is over. Have fun in this shit hole." Ray says with a small laugh.
