Ivy slept soundly through the night, she didn't move at all which was rare for her since she constantly would toss and turn. Lucius woke up several times throughout the night to check on her in fear that something may be wrong. He would check to see her breathing and then he would pull her back into his chest protectively before he fell back to sleep again.
Ivy awoke the next morning still wrapped up in Lucius's arms, her head tucked into his neck and her breaths fanning across the bare skin of his neck. She stayed still inhaling his comforting scent, he was still sound asleep his breathing pattern shallow and even. She turned her head slightly to watch his chest rise and fall.
"You know I can feel you staring" he mumbled sleepily, scaring Ivy out of her trance. "Bloody hell I thought you were asleep!" she gasped out. He chuckled lightly, amused at her shock and wrapped his arm around her back stroking it soothingly. "You sleep well?" he asked. "yes, very well. I am just sore today" she said stretching her muscles and wincing as they ached in protest. "I'll have Onyx or Leanna whip up a potion to help you with that before you go." he kissed the top of her head.
They got out of bed and got themselves ready for the day, "What will you be doing today?" Ivy asked as she pulled on a pair of jeans. "I'm going to bring you to the Weasley's then I have to be at the Ministry we are having a meeting about your father and what to do with this situation. I need to know your safe and I know that they will keep you safe." he said dryly.
A grin passed Ivy's lips, she knew how hard this was for Lucius to admit that she was safe with the Weasley's. He was right though the Manor and The Burrow were the safest places to be especially with Harry around he was like family to her as well. "Thank you for realizing this Lucius, I know how hard it is for you to say that after all these years." she said bending over while tugging her shoes onto her feet.
She suddenly felt his presence behind her and his hand on her hip stroking it gently. "Now this is an angle I could get used to" he hummed planting a firm slap on her ass making her jolt forward and squeak in surprise. Lucius chuckled darkly at her reaction as she stood up and turned around facing him, her cheeks painted a faint pink. "Love making you all flustered" he teased again.
After a hearty breakfast and Ivy was given something for her muscles to relax Lucius looked up from The Daily Prophet, "make sure you have everything you need, we leave in 5 minutes" he said gazing at his pocket watch before tucking it back into his pocket.
Ivy went and gathered her bag and slung it over her shoulder meeting Lucius at the bottom of the stairs. "Ready my love?" He asked. "Yes sir" she smiled.
His hand cupped her cheek and he ran his thumb gently over it, "if anything should happen while your there...." He began but she efficiently cut him off. "Lucius nothing is going to happen, they've got me and I more than proved that I am capable of defending myself" she said leaning her head into the palm of his hand. "Doesn't mean I still won't worry about you Princess" he said.
"I love you" she breathed. "As I love you" he pressed his lips to her forehead. They soaked in the moment before he pulled away and offered her his arm which she took. "Ready?" Lucius asked. Ivy nodded, with a flick of his wrist they apparated from the manor twisting, spinning, squeezing through the air.
Soon enough their feet slammed into the earthy ground of the front yard of the burrow. Ivy caught her breath and tried to push the nauseating feeling down. Lucius seemed unaffected as usual, a master of apparition.
After Ivy had properly gathered herself she went to the door of the burrow which swung open before she could knock. Molly stood there with a smile plastered across her face, "Ivy darling how good it is to see you!" She said pulling the girl in for a hug. "Hi Molly" Ivy hugged her back. "Good morning Lucius" Molly nodded her head politely at him. "Molly" Lucius tipped his head at her.
