Trigger warning self harm.

The next day came rather quickly, after a restless night of tossing and turning from pent up anxiety and nerves. The sun finally beaming through the crack between the curtains and the wall. She rolled over and looked at Lucius who was sleeping peacefully on his side facing her. His blonde hair was scattered messily around his face and onto the pillows, his face was soft and emotionless. She strained her neck to press her lips gently to his causing him to stir slightly then his eyes slowly opening.

He looked over at her and smiled sleepily, "Good Morning little one. Sleep well?" he asked. She shook her head, "actually.... no I was up most of the night tossing and turning." she sighed. He frowned, "And you didn't wake me?" he asked sternly. She stared at him, "why would I wake you if I can't sleep. That's silly it wouldn't have helped me if you were awake, my mind was just racing thats all" she said with a smile. He smiled with a shake of his head, "does your mind ever not race? I swear whenever I look into your mind there is a million things going on in there at once" he laughed.

She giggled guiltily, "It's always been that way my mind is always racing" she sighed. "Indeed I have come to learn that" Lucius said sitting up and stretching himself out. There was a brisk tap on the window and they looked over, "Must be Hades" Lucius said standing up from the bed and going over to the window. He drew the shades back and opened the window where Hades was preached and took the letter from his beak. He looked down at the letter and grimaced at the name, "The Weasley's wrote to you" he said.

Ivy jumped out of bed and walked over to Lucius and took the letter from him, "I asked Hermione and Ginny to go gown shopping with me" she said excitedly. She ripped open the letter and quickly read it over, they agreed to meet her to go gown shopping she smiled excitedly. "They are going to come gown shopping with me today!" Lucius looked at her his expression cross, "The last time you saw them you came back here and had a massive anxiety attack and sobbed for almost an hour. I do not like this." he said.

She looked up at him with pleading eyes, "Lucius it wasn't their fault, it was George and it wasn't even his fault it was mine. I shouldn't have told him about us after the conversation we had he was emotionally vulnerable and I struck a nerve. I do not blame him for reacting that way...." she said. Lucius rubbed his temples, "Ivy, he still made you severely upset and I don't like that" he said in a cross tone. "Lucius please, I do not have many friends and they are one of the few I have...." she begged.

"What about that Parkinson girl? Why couldn't you go with her?" he asked. She had sent a letter out to Pansy and she had gotten a quick reply, she had plans with her boyfriend Graham to go gown searching. "She had plans already with her boyfriend. Lucius, Draco is going to be bored out of his fucking mind watching me try on gown after gown, please just let me have this!" she pleaded with him. His face softened and he looked down at her, "I swear if they upset you again I will go over there in person and prices will be payed" he threatened. "Lucius please, they are like family" she said.

He sighed and kissed her forehead, "Ok, alright I will try my best to settle down. No promises" he said quietly. "I wish you were coming today." she said with a quiet mutter. "Why little one? I want to be surprised the day of the ball. I want a grand reveal, Draco has as good of taste in clothes as I do. He will not let you buy anything you don't look like a queen in. Which will be hard because you could wear a burlap sack and still make it look like a million galleons." he grinned.

She blushed a deep crimson red, "Stop" he giggled. He pushed her hair out of her face, "Never" he said with a grin before walking to the bathroom and brushing his teeth. She went to her wardrobe and searched for an outfit, she pulled out a grey turtleneck sweater dress paired with a black belt. She was slowly learning how to dress fashionably to Lucius's standards she paired the dress with a pair of black knee high leather boots. She got herself dressed and brushed her hair out keeping it down.
