Chapter 15

Chloe Pov

Ugh I hate karaoke. Well, I don't mind watching but actually singing is so annoying. Whenever I'm alone I may sing but nobody's around so I don't care.

On our way to the karaoke place, Cassie is still smiling. She loves Karaoke. We're completely opposite from each other but we're best friends. It's kinda funny.

We get to the karaoke place and everyone who wants to sing is signing up. In the mean time, Sam is trying to hit on me. Kian is busy hitting on Sophie, and Jc is busy hitting on Preslea.

I can see Jack J and Jack G signing up together. I didn't know they could sing. It actually took me by surprise.

What if t surprise me was when Cassie was signing up. She loves doing stuff like this. She never sings in front of small audiences though. If she's going to sing, it can't be in front of a few people. I asked her why and she said that it was just awkward.

Shawn was waiting behind her to sign up. I knew Shawn could sing because I heard him humming a song quietly earlier today. He was okay at it. He might be better live though.

Sophie Pov

I was debating on whether or not to sign up for karaoke. I mean, Cassie was doing it and so were both Jacks, Trevor, Ricky, and Shawn. How hard could it be? Besides it would be fun to annoy Chloe.

I decide to sign up. Once I do I'm pretty happy with it. Now all I have to do is watch everyone else for a little bit before my turn. While I'm waiting, I think of what song to sing.

It was a hard descision. I know a lot of music. Like, a lot. I listen to songs before they even become popular on the radio. Example: All about that Base.

Now I'm absolutely sick of that song. It was way too overplayed. I always change the station when it's on.

The first person goes up and we don't know them. As they go on I can't help but think that they're actually pretty good.

A few more random people go. They were good too. But now it's my turn and I'm going to outshine the rest.

I get up on the stage and Chloe starts to tease me. I shake my head at her and the music starts playing through the speakers. Everyone's quiet now.

As I finish the song, my applause is huge. I was really happy that it was. I like singing and it made me happy. But at the same time I was thinking 'haha YASS bitches!'

"That was really good." Kian says.

"Thanks." I smile. I even blush a little. I'm starting to think that I like Kian. He's so cute. And I never blush when a guy talks to me. I have guy friends so I'm used to guys talking to me.

Now it's Jack And Jack's turn. They get on stage and a song I've never heard comes on. "Oh, this is one of their original songs." Shawn says.

"Really?" Preslea asks. Shawn nods. "I would have never guess that they would make music." Preslea continued.

"They do. They're good at it too." Shawn said.

After the Jack's go Trevor and Ricky go. Both of them are really good. So were Jack and Jack. Kian and Jc explain how they make their own music (Ricky and Trevor).

Connor has been on his phone almost the whole time. I can only laugh. I'm not even on my phone and I'm almost always on my phone.

After Trevor and Ricky go I compliment them. They were honestly really, really good. They compliment me too.

"Thanks." I say smiling.

Shawn Pov

When me and Cassie were singing up, I asked her if she wanted to d a duet. Cassie smiled and nodded. "But what will we sing?" She asks.
