Chapter 34

Cassie POV

Once we're off the plane and arrive at our hotel after the race to the limo, we're not sure what to do. We find ourselves slightly occupied when we need to figure out sleeping arrangements.

"Okay," Cameron starts. "We're a little tight on room space."

"So how many people will it be in a room?" Nash asks.

"Well it can be from two to four people, nobody is getting their own rooms."

"Well I kind of expected that." Chloe says.

"So it'll have to be Matt and Cassie to a room with at least one more person and the same thing goes with Chloe and Jacob. We're gonna try and get the people who are in relationships together." Cameron explains.

I look to Matthew and smile at him. Sharing a bed is just like cuddling, right?

"I'll join Matt and Cassie's room." Carter offers. It makes sense since they're such good friends.

"Then I'll go with Jacob and Chloe." Aaron says.

"The rest of you guys can figure it out on your own, right?" Cam asks. Everyone nods and starts making sleeping arrangements.

I look to Shawn and feel awful. He's got two expressions on his face mixed into one; anger and sadness. There's not much I can do with the amount of rooms we have though.

I take my suitcase and head up to my room with Matt. I plop it down on the bed and he places his beside mine. "I'm happy we get to share a room." He says genuinely.

"Me too," I say smiling. "It's warm here though so I'm gonna get changed." I say.

"We should see if everyone wants to go to the beach." Matt suggests.

"That's a great idea!" I exclaim. "You go to all the rooms and ask and whoever wants to come will join us. I'm going to get my swimsuit on."

"Okay." He says and walks out of the hotel room door. Once the door is shut tight behind him I walk to the bathroom and change in there so if Matt comes back or Carter walks in they won't see me naked.

I finish putting my one piece bathing suit on and wait on the hotel room bed. Matt comes back in and says that it'll be all of us going and then he grabs his swim trunks and gets changed in the washroom.

"Cassie?" He asks when he comes out.

"Yes?" I reply, looking up from my book. He looks really good in his swimsuit.

"Why do you only wear one piece swim suits?"

I frown a little and place my bookmark back on the right page. "It's kind of hard to explain." I admit.

"Are you self conscious?" He asks.

"You could say that."

"Don't be. You're gorgeous." He assures me with a kiss on my cheek. I can't help but blush. I guess I'm glad he's my boyfriend. I mean, I should be. And I am.

I grab a towel and wrap it around my waist as Matt grabs my hand. We meet up with everyone else in the hallway and I see Chloe with Jacob. I'm assuming that they're a thing now, and they're actually pretty cute together. The only weird thing is that Chloe has an older brother named Jacob.

I spot Cameron looking down at his phone screen with intensity on his face. "Give me one second," I say to Matt. He nods and I let go of his hand and walk towards Cam. "Are you still texting Shayla?"

"Yeah," he sighs. "I think we're good now though."

"That's good," I say encouragingly, "just keep talking with her. Shayla doesn't hold grudges, trust me."
