60. Reactions - Oscar

Oscars POV:

Full of excitement I opened the door to the loft. Excitement to finally see Ann again. It had only be a couple of hours but since that break up thing I couldn’t stand to not see her. Ally and Lou were sitting on the couch. They looked worried and I had to think of Felix´s plan he had told us about earlier. But where was Ann? The smile that had been glued to my face all day disappeared. Why was I always worrying so much?

“Where is Ann?” I asked. Felix had stepped in right behind me. He was holding a tight friends of ours hand he had picked up before. It was stage two of his great plan.

“She´s upstairs waiting for you.” As Ally said that my heart jumped. She was waiting for me? Suddenly there was a picture of her in my head. On that she was naked and ready to let me take whatever I needed. So I quickly left to go upstairs.

She was not naked. She had been crying I could sense it. And something else was going on… I didn’t know what it was but I would know very soon.

Ann handed me something she had been looking at before. She tried a smile. It looked like she wasn’t sure how to act. I looked at the stick-ish thing in my hands. It was made of plastic and I knew what it was right away. A red line.

I didn’t know how I should react… was I happy? Or was I scared?

Ann was pregnant. I would be a father in nine month… without me noticing a tear came into my eye.

Was it of joy or of fear? Maybe both. I bend down on my knees and took Ann´s hands in mine. Then a smile came onto my face. A laugh mixed with a sob came out of her mouth and tears run down her cheeks. But she smile a little.

“Honey we can do this!” I whispered. I took her head into my hands, we both stood up and I took her into my arms. I just held her. I could feel her fear of being a mom. I knew she had mostly been scared of how I would react. But I would not leave her no matter what. I had promised that to myself long ago.

“Oh and there is one more thing…” Ann said pulling away.

“What is it?” I asked.

“Jackson called… they can´t take care of the dog anymore… was it ok if he came here?”

“Oh of course! You know I love dogs... mine are going to be coming back from my parents place soon as well!”

She came back into the hug again.

“Ann! I love you and there is nothing I wouldn’t do for you!” I said and every word was the truth.

Then she pulled away again and I could see her tricky smile. “Oh is there?”

“Maybe not everything…” I said unsure what was coming now.

“Ok let’s see!” She said while heading towards the door. “Would you give up your Harry potter movies for me?” then she left and I followed her downstairs.
