Oscar's POV:
"So this is why you are here? You were looking for me?" Tobias was saying out of power.
"Partly... yes. But mostly because Oscar is from here... and I love him. Lizzie and Bay are my only family left so I brought them with me." Ann left out the part were her mom had left her 1.5 million Euros I was guessing because she didn't know how her dad would react.
"Do you need anything? Because I don't have any money..." he was asking probably just because that's what you do...
"We don't need anything from you! We have all we need. We survived all our lives without you and we can do it now too." Ann said and I knew she was getting a little angry and Tobias looked like she had hit him in his face.
"And for the record: we can do it even with two little babies!" now she pulled him up and shoved him out the door. Ann closed it behind him and leaned against the door. It all happened in less than ten seconds and now she dropped down on the floor. Covering her face with her hands she pulled her knees towards her chest.
Wait... two babies?
Ann's POV:
I felt Oscar's presence before he was touching me. I took a deep breath. He put his hand on my leg and made me feel calm, yet nervous at the same time. It wasn't the kind of nervous you get when you have to do something, it was the kind that is exiting and makes you feel good. I lift up my head and looked at him.
"I think I'm having twins!" I said and burst out in tears. I didn't know if those were happy or sad tears. I guessed it was both. Oscar took me in his harms and held me. We sat on the floor in front of the door and I just cried. Why was I crying? Because I was scared? Because there where to human beings growing inside of me?
"I want to go to ultrasound..." I brought out sobbing as soon as I could speak again. "And I don't want him" I pointed to the door so Oscar knew I meant my father "I don't want him to have any contact with us... he is a drunk. And he would leave us anyway because he is a coward..."
I was tired and Oscar sensed it. This had been too much for one day. Suddenly I got up. "I'm going to bed..." I said and disappeared upstairs.
