"Oh my god Rebecca I'm so glad you here!" She said relieved, beginning to approach me.

"Stop! Angela, don't come any closer." I warned her, holding my hand up at her while holding Nessie closer.

"W-what?"

"It's not...safe." I said.

"Rebe-"

"What are you doing here Angela?" I cut her off.

"Well if you haven't noticed I was just kidnapped." She said looking at me as if I was stupid.

"No I mean what are you doing here, in Florida."

She sighed and her face bunched like she was going to cry.

"My mom and dad sent me here for the summer, to visit my grandmother. I should have just fought harder, told them I wanted to stay and look into collages like I was supposed to!" She explained as a few sobs began falling from her mouth.

I breathed once more, painfully, as Nessie's teeth dug into my shoulder, her face concealed by my hair.

"Angela none of this is your fault." I reminded her gently, planting myself firmly to the ground to stop from lunging at her.

She rubbed her eyes beneath her glasses and nodded while silencing her sobs. "It just makes me feel like I could've stopped this, now I'm going to probably die, why'd he call me dinner?" She asked nervously.

"I can't exactly answer that Ange." I said.

"What do you mean?"

"There's some things worse than death." I answered truthfully referring to the Volturi.

She opened her mouth but stopped and just nodded.

"Whose that?" She asked gesturing to Nessie.

I swallowed the venom pooling in my mouth and grimaced at the pain.

"She's my niece, Reneesme."

"Niece?"

"Another long story that I cannot share." I said.

"We have to find a way out of here." She said after we had fallen into silence for a moment.

"I have someone on the inside, but he sure is taking A LONG ASS TIME!" I shouted the last part at Riley who I knew was "standing guard" at our door.

My only response was a laugh.

...jerk...

"Riley!" I called and the door creaked open.

"Yes?" He asked with a goofy smile.

"Idiot." I mumbled.

"Have you contacted them yet?" I asked.

"I'm trying but Aron has the place under lock and key, I've even tried to get through to the telepath friend of yours but the shield is still up." He answered.

I groaned and tipped my head back till it rested against the wall.

Angela turned her head to me with a confused look on her face, "Excuse me but did he just say you know a telepath."
