"Where's Bella?" He immediately asked. I gave him a small smile. I opened the door wider and he walked through looking rather uncomfortable. "Relax Charlie it's just us." I said. "That's what worries me." He mumbled attempting to hide his comment. But of course I heard it anyways due to my enhanced hearing.

Carlisle stepped in front of us and lead Charlie to the "main" room where Bella was. I could hear her uneven breathing and I almost panicked until I heard the breaths cease.

In the room Jake stood close by and Edward was seated next to Bella. She was trying to attempt looking human but I could see the difficulty she was having.

Edward stood, revealing Bella to Charlie. I heard his sharp intake of breath at the sight of her. I don't blame him she does look different. "Bella?" He asked.

"Hi dad." She said, her voice coming out barely above a whisper.

"Are you okay?" He asked with a shaky tone.

"Never better. I've been worse." She answered. I had to hold in my laughs at how true her answer was.

Charlie looked anxiously back to where Jake and I were then looked to Bella. "You don't turn into an animal to do you?" He asked nervously.

"She wishes she was that awesome." Jake said while clasping Charlie's shoulder.

"Jake, no." I said with a grin.

"Are you two..." Charlie trailed off looking between us. "Charlie! No!" I rushed out. Jake started laughing and hugged me from behind, "What's wrong don't you love your puppy!" He said dramatically. "Shut up you jerk." I said and smacked his head, I had to lightly due to Charlie's presence.

Bella looked to Edward and he looked to us. "Let's give them some privacy." He said and started walking from the room. I sighed and mumbled, "Ruining my fun." And then followed along with Jake and Carlisle.

We walked into the kitchen where the others were. I slid and sat on the counter, Jake popped up and sat with me. "So do you think she'll take a bite out of him?" Jake asked. "Shut up she can hear you." I said and he grinned.

I flashed to Rosalie and took
Reneesme from her then flashed back to the counter."If you be nice you can hold Ness." I said. He instantly slid closer and looked down at Nessie who giggled.

"You know maybe you should let me take her in there, It'll be easier for Bella." He said. "Interesting request. Hm, request denied." I said and slid off the counter. Edward motioned for me to follow and I walked back into the room with him.

"Charlie." I whispered catching his attention as he and Bella broke away from their hug.

"This is Reneesme." Edward finished. Bella walked normally over to us and I handed Ness to Edward.

"Your niece." Charlie said coming to join us. "Our daughter." Edward replied. "Right, the adoption." Charlie said not exactly sounding happy about it.

He looked down at the baby and he fought off a smile. "Reneh- s - may." He sounded out a little confused.

"She's got your eyes Bella." He said finally piecing it together. "Need to know I guess." He said and Bella nodded with a small smile.

Charlie had stayed for about an hour talking with Bella and the rest of us, but neatly avoiding Jake.

"Well done Bella I've never seen a newborn show that kind of restraint." Jasper said as we watched the car pull away outside. "I'm not sure she is a newborn, she's so, tame." Emmett said with a smirk. Oh I knew what he was getting at.
