The next morning we walked solemnly to the barren iced field, the snow crunching softly beneath our feet.

Bella and Edward walked on both sides of Reneesme who had her hand clasped around mine where I was following closely behind.

We came to a stop and my breathing began quickening as I heard the fast paced steps of the Volturi army.

"If we live through this, I'll follow you anywhere woman." Garrett said to Kate.

Looks like I'm not the only one finding their mate.

"Now you tell me." Kate remarked with irritation but also a hint of happiness.

I smiled for them and sighed as Carlisle and Esme grasped each other's hands.

Esme reached forward and rubbed my back soothingly for a moment then pulled away.

I wish Jake would get here already.

The Volturi army began to enter the field, remaining silent with their hoods concealing their faces.

I smirked as I read Garrett's mind and we looked at each other and mumbled together, "The red coats are coming the red coats are coming."

Oh my god there where so many.

They all walked perfectly in unison, their numbers stretching across the field. Nessie tightened her grip on my hand, she was scared and trying to comfort me.

All I could think at the moment was, "Please don't be Felix please don't be Felix." Edward held back a laugh and looked at me. I just shrugged. No point in lying.

"Aro's looking for Alice. He's excited to see you here." He mumbled to me.

Oh my god the whole walking slowly thing was killing me and I could feel the heat slowly curling up my spine.

The only thing that calmed me was the sight of the wolves, and Jake leading the packs, low snarls coming from their throats as they joined us.

The Volturi came to an abrupt stop and Jake slid beside me and Nessie.

He nudged my shoulder telling me to calm down, I instantly felt a cool ripple down my back and smiled, resting my hand on his side.

"Thanks pal." I muttered.

In one movement they all removed their hoods and my breath caught in my throat. I found him.

"Demetri." I whispered. Hearing his name, his eyes flitted across our group and rested on me. His mouth fell open slightly and I quickly looked away.

Seeing him though, was like looking at the world for the first time. Everything was clearer like I knew what I was born for.

Edward's eyes flicked between Demetri and I and it soon became clear to everyone on our side. I heard a faint growl from the Romanians as they muttered the word, "Traitor." Making me flinch and Jake growl. He knew what I was going through.

Aro, noticing the distracted Demetri called him over and grabbed onto his hand looking into his thoughts. A wicked smiled curled onto him mouth.

"La Tua Cantante." Aro whispered and looked at me.

"Rebecca would you be so kind?" He asked. I looked at Edward and he nodded. Nessie squeezed my hand tighter and I dropped to her level. "I'll be back, you have to let go." I whispered to her. "Promise?" She asked. "Promise." I replied.
