Mr and Mrs Brady, of number seven, Privet Drive, were a couple that had no child of their own. Apart from that, they were completely perfect. But, sometimes there were some odd things that used to happen with them that made other people wonder.

Mr Brady was the owner of a market namely THE ORGANIC RUN, which sold fruits, vegetables, herbs and everything related to vegan food. He was a finely fit, tall man with a perfect jawline. His hairs were a bit wavy and black. Mrs Brady was lean and had black hair with a tinge of brown to it. She was a caring housewife and an amazing chef (whenever she wanted to be). The two were perfectly happy with each other. Only, they didn't had any child of their own.

Except for a child, the Bradys had everything they wanted, but they also had a secret, and their greatest fear was that somebody would discover it. They didn't think they could bear it if anyone found out about the Pearlstones. Mr Pearlstone was Mr and Mrs Brady's closest friend but they had never walked together in public; in fact, Mrs Brady pretended she didn't knew them at all, because Mr Pearlstone was someone who could not have been accepted by society as a normal person and Mrs Pearlstone... Well, from the perspective of society, she should not exist at all. The Bradys knew that Mrs Pearlstone had given birth to a baby girl a year ago, after which she had died. That was the last time they had met Mr Pearlstone and after that, they never heard from him. Although Mr Brady had written to him uncountable times, he never received a reply.

When Mr and Mrs Brady woke up on the dull, grey Tuesday our story starts, there was nothing about the cloudy sky outside to suggest that strange and mysterious things would soon be happening all over the country. Mr Brady hummed as he picked out his new checklist for the products arriving in the market today (according to the season), and Mrs Brady inhaled the fresh smell of the pancakes she made moments ago. All the edible stuff came to her kitchen, fresh from THE ORGANIC RUN.

Suddenly, her attention was diverted towards a large, tawny owl that fluttered past the window. Her heart skipped a beat. She kept staring outside the window.

"What is it?" Mr Brady stepped behind her, peering outside the window along with her.

She merely shook her head turning to him. "Nothing, I guess."

He gently kissed her forehead and hugged her. "I'll see if I can make it early."

He took the lunch pack full of pancakes (he loved pancakes), got into his car and pulled out of number seven's drive.

On the edge of town, he kept thinking about something that he was totally unable to understand. As he sat in the usual morning traffic jam, he couldn't help noticing that there seemed to be a lot of strangely dressed people in cloaks. These cloaks were familiar to him as they reminded him of his really close friend Mr Pearlstone. He hadn't seen his friend for such a long time now and wondered if... He was out there with these strangely dressed people. He drummed his fingers on the steering wheel and his eyes fell on a huddle of these weirdos standing quite close by. They were whispering excitedly together. Mr Brady was unexpectedly excited to see that a couple of them weren't young at all. Was there a possibility that he could find his friend among them? The traffic moved on and a few minutes later, Mr Brady arrived in THE ORGANIC RUN parking lot, his mind back on Veggies and herbs.

Mr Brady always kept walking around from one corner to the other corner of the store. There was huge farmland behind his store that produced potatoes and onions in bulk. As soon as he stepped out to check out the packaging area, Mr Brady had an urge to look up. That is when he saw the owls swooping past in broad daylight. The workers pointed and gazed open-mouthed as owl after owl sped overhead. Most of them had never seen an owl even at nighttime. Mr Brady, however, had seen many of them and they too reminder him of his friend.
