15.Punches

Raven watched McCray drive away surprised of his kindness and hopes he wasn't acting.

She looked up into the raining night sky and fixed her wet curly hair. She then looked at Harlows house remembering the loss that took place.

She then looked down and ran home to go to sleep.

The next day Raven walked into her grandfathers room noticing he wasn't in there. She looked around the house confused "there is no way he is already working on that damn box."

She goes into the basement seeing him eyeing it and writing on some paper. "What have you got so far?"

Marvin takes his glasses off and sets them on the desk looking annoyed. "Absolutely nothing..."

Raven lifts her eyebrows surprised "how?"

Marvin looks up at her "I dont know Raven... I should know.. I dont know if its my old brain not working or if this is extremely complex shit going on here."

Raven laughs "maybe both?"

Marvin laughs "very funny."

Raven then stops smiling realizing he might not know what had just taken place. "You know that Andrea had just committed suicide?"

Marvin puts his glasses back on and looks at her surprised "what the hell.. we were just there."

Raven shrugs "I know.."

Marvin looks down on his desk to think "that must be really hard on Harlow.. you should to check on him."

Raven looked at him confused "isn't this hard on you too? I mean yall were friends."

Marvin tilts his head "I guess.. but I'm an old man.. im used to losing friends and family."

Raven frowns "I thought you could never get used to it."

Marvin shrugs "I guess it depends on the person..."

Raven squints her eyes at him and climbs upstairs.

As she gets outside she sees a couple scoundrels yelling and punching at eachother. Curious, she gets closer to them.

As she crosses  the street she notices it's McCray and this other guy fighting.

"Stop!" McCray yells at him.

"LET ME BACK INSIDE RIGHT NOW MCCRAY!" the other guy says

Raven peeps over a bush hoping not to be seen.

"NO GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HERE MAN!" McCray yells back

The other guy looks like he calms down and says "why do you always think I'm on something! Thats all in the past!"

McCray gets closer to him pointing in his face "No! You always say that! Now get back into your car and go!"

The guy turns around towards his car and starts walking slowly. Raven watches with anticipation.

Then all of the sudden the guy quickly turns around and tackles McCray into the kitty pool that children were swimming in.

The kids run into the house screaming. Seconds later the mother comes out "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON OUT HERE!?!"

It obviously doesn't stop McCray and the other guy as they wrestle in the water seeming to be trying to drown eachother.

Raven thinks if she should interfere or not so someone doesn't die two days in a row. But she stays still.

Quickly McCray had the other guy in a choke hold. "TAP OUT IF YOU'LL STOP!" McCray yells

The guy doesn't seem to budge and keeps trying to hit McCray.
