Time goes by and Marvin still hasn't been able to decipher anything not even one word.
Marvin walks upstairs seeing Raven and Harlow watching TV
"I still can't figure it out..." Marvin says
Harlow raises his eyebrows "its been almost a month though..."
Marvin nods "Im aware."
"Do you think you might be missing something?" Raven asks
Marvin nods "yes..."
Harlow and Raven stare at him waiting for him to say something "like what?" Harlow asks
"The key." Marvin says
Harlow furrows his eyebrows "we could have been searching for that all this time and you now realize thats what we need?"
Marvin shrugs "I thought we weren't going to need it until after I have deciphered it. But it seems to not want to cooperate with me.. so we must get the key first."
Raven and Harlow look at eachother confused
"And where do you think it could be?" Raven asks
Marvin shrugs "that's the thing I beleived the box would tell us. But like I said its not cooperating... so we gotta find it.. I dont know where it is.. but its somewhere."
Raven sighs "well thats not much to go off of at all.."
Harlow goes outside feeling frustrated. He spots McCray walking. Harlow looks at him curiously as he noticed that McCray hasn't been messing with him lately. He shrugs and looks to Raven "I might have an idea."
Raven lifts an eyebrow "what is it?"
Harlow starts walking towards his house "follow me."
Once they get into Harlows house they quickly head down into the basement.
Harlow sees the computer and replays the recording.
As the recording plays he remembers when he once saw his father speaking with the principal. The principal was one of his fathers friends but there was one sketchy convorsation he remembered them having.
"What if she has the key and my mother had the box.." Harlow thinks to himself.
Raven looks around the room and in the box of stuff under the floor hoping to find clues. "This place is so bare." Raven says
Harlow nods "I know... I thought it was weird too."
Harlow thinks a little more and looks back at Raven "I think I actually might know where the key is... maybe."
Raven looks up at him "where?"
"The school." Harlow responds
Raven squints her eyes "Really? The school?"
Harlow nods "my father and our principal were once friends. Its another place that almost no one would really expect."
Raven tilts her head. "I guess I'll take your word for it... although it is strange."
Harlow nods "you're right... but it's worth a shot."
The next day at school they wander around the halls searching for interesting things that may be hiding the key. Or even for the key itself.
As they spilt up Harlow notices a prom poster. He let's it distract him as he looks at it thinking about if he were to ask Raven and if they were to go together. He smiles.
