Harlow stares at the wall trying to figure out a different person. "There is no way it could be her... she's the last person I'd give it to."
Harlow thinks about friends that his father could have had but they're too distant to remember. Harlow thinks about the time he was speaking to the principal one time at highschool although he was in middle school..
"It could be her..." Harlow cringes "but thats too weird."
Harlow speaks into the walkie talkie "I have some information.."
"What is it?" Raven asks
"Is Marvin there too?"
"No he went to the bathroom." Raven responds
Harlow sighs "couldn't he hold it for a few more minutes?"
"He's an old man.." Raven says slightly laughing
Harlow nods "thats right.. he is."
Harlow had forgotten he was an old man even though he sees him almost everyday. He acts much younger... of course except the time he fell that one day but that wasnt necessarily his fault.
Harlow waits on the chair a few minutes and thinks to look in the box that is filled with his stuff. He throws the piece of floor off the ground and lightly sets it down.
He shines a flashlight that was setting on the desk inside. It wasn't that big of a box which surprised him as he had seen Marvin's basement and the fact that he carried significantly more stuff.
Harlow looked around inside the box seeing a picture of him and his father. Harlow looks at it reminiscing the fun times he had with his father. Before his mother became who she is now. Times used to be really good..
Suddenly the walkie talkie talks "Im back Harlow what did you get."
Harlow hesitates to speak as Marvin had interrupted his thoughts. He wanted to keep thinking about them but he couldnt..
"I.. um." He clears his throat
"I think that my mother might have the box or some woman does." Harlow quickly says
Marvin doesn't speak for a couple seconds then finally does "you didn't find it in there?"
Harlow shrugs "nope.. no I didn't but there was a recording my father made after he spoke into the voice box. And-"
Marvin interrupted "then he did survive.. what did he say?"
Harlow slightly started to feel annoyed as Marvin had interrupted him twice. "I was getting to that..."
Marvin quickly responds "sorry.. keep talking."
Harlow thinks about what his father had said and repeats what he thinks was the important parts "in the recording he showed that it was a mini box which has letters, numbers and symbols on it. Then he showed that it had a key whole. He then claimed that he didn't know where the key was but that he was sure it held the meaning to life and what lies within the governments secrets.. and all that jazz. Then after he said that he put stuff in a box under the floor and then he says that hopefully she will give the box to you once the time comes."
Marvin once again doesn't speak for a minute then says "it has to be your mother."
Harlow nods in agreement "I can't figure out anyone else that could have it. He thinks for a minute "how the hell and I supposed to get it from her though"
"She knows who I am.. well atleast she should." Marvin responds
Harlow squints his eyes in confusion but believes that she could, as Marvin and his father were friends. Although he doesn't understand how he didnt know who Marvin was before. He then sighs taking what he said into an idea even though that is already what Marvin was trying to say.
