Falling for the fake identity

Chapter 6 - Hospitilised

Maddison is raced to the hospital and Dawson has called Luca. He is on his way and Maddison has just been taken in for surgery.
"Where is she?!" Luca says panicked
"She's in surgery! She'll be out soon" Dawson says calmly
"Where is that bastard!? I'm gonna kill him!" Luca shouts
"He's in custody" Dawson replies as Luca sits next to her
"How could I let this happen?" Luca asks
"None of us knew. She kept it quiet" Dawson replies slightly blaming herself
"Did it happen every night or?" Luca asks confused
"Only Mads will be able to tell us that" Dawson says as the doctor walks out
"She's out of surgery and she's awake. You can both go in and see her" He says
Luca and Dawson make their way in
"What are you doing here?" Madison asks groggily
"I couldn't let you rot alone in here now could I?" Luca says smiling
They both sit down
"What happened honey?" Dawson asks as she takes Maddison's hand
Maddison hesitates
"It just happened one night, his anger got the better of him. I thought it was a one time thing. He wanted me to get pregnant so that he would always be attached to me. I didn't want it but I lied to him and said it was negative and here we are" Maddison says staring at the wall
"The bruises?" Dawson asks
"All him" Maddison adds
"I'm gonna get him mads! I swear!" Luca shouts
"He's not worth it" Maddison adds
Luca and Dawson exchange a look. It's later on that night and Luca has decided to pay Paul a visit. The guard lets him in
"Hitting a woman? That's real sad" Luca says as Paul smirks
"Not when the woman deserves it" Paul adds
"Watch your mouth! I can make your life a living hell in here because I'll make sure you do hard time!" Luca yells
"Is that a threat Dominic?" Paul asks as he leans forward in his chair
"Suck it up" Luca says in his face
Paul launches himself at Luca forgetting he has cuffs on
"Who's the man now?" Luca asks as he digs his nails into Paul's hands
"That's assault!" Paul shouts
"Who you gonna tell? If you do tell someone who are they gonna believe? Huh? A cop or a woman hitter?" Luca says as he takes his nails out and walks out
Luca walks out with a smirk on his face...
