3rd person POV-
Jacob had dropped Athena back off at home when he noticed how tired she looked. He looked at the clock and saw it was 11 o'clock, way later than he had thought. Sam and Emily were a bit worried when they saw how late it was getting, but they trusted Jacob to keep their mate safe.
Sam had called the other pack members to tell them that it's their turn for a date with Athena. Sam also told the boys not to bother them for any reason unless it was life or death, Emily's words to be specific. She was beyond excited to spend the next day Athena and Sam. Well mainly Athena, Emily goes on dates with Sam quite often so it's more of a relaxing time with Sam than an actual date.
Emily was scared because she's never been on a date with another girl before, let alone one that she's mated with. She didn't know that until Athena had told her, since Emily's human she had no idea she was mated to Athena. Until Athena told her she felt the same pull to her that she did with the boys. Emily had already started to plan the date the moment she heard that.
A hike through the woods. It sounds less fun from what the others have done, but she wanted to show Athena this place in the woods that was just so pretty. Plus Athena loved taking walks and hiking. Something to do with her not having legs for so long.
Emily's thoughts were put on hold when her and Sam heard Jacob's truck pulling into the drive way. The both of them getting up to greet Jacob and Athena at the door, only to see Athena sleeping in Jacob's arms. They felt jealous that they weren't the ones holding her but thought it was a cute sight none the less.
Jacob takes Athena up to her room, taking off her shoes and pulling the blanket up to her shoulders. Turning on the fan before leaving the room, knowing the girl would wake up in the middle of the night if it wasn't turned on. Nodding to Emily and Sam before leaving. The couple go to bed as it's late.
Sam's POV- I turn over to see the sun shining in my eyes, groaning as I turn back over to hug Emily only to feel her side of the bed empty. I sit up and take in my surroundings before getting up and brushing my teeth.
The smell of fresh eggs and toast hitting my nose. I smile knowing Emily's making our favorite breakfast. I walk down the stairs to see her at the stove, walking over I wrap my arms around her waist and kiss her forehead.
"Good morning." I tell her while hugging her tighter to me. Emily laughs and tells me good morning.
"Hey, can you go wake up Athena? Breakfast should be done soon." She asks me softly, I nod and kiss her before going back up stairs.
Athena's POV-
I whine at the feeling of someone shaking me awake. Opening one of my eyes I see Sam beside me.
"Good morning beautiful, Emily asked me to get you. She made breakfast." He tells me before kissing my forehead. I nod before stretching my legs and arms.
