A Minecraft head cannon just because I can. I feel like a enderman is always curious about you and tries to communicate. but doesn't want you to look in its eyes. Because it's programmed to attack you if you do. So when you accidentally hit it or look it in the eyes it gets mad because now it has to kill you. So when you kill it the sound it makes is actually thanking you because they would have rather died than have to attack you.
Personally enderman scare me but this head cannon made me like them a bit more
