I was running. I was running for my life but the danger was far from gone.
I had no idea what made my legs run so fast to the point of breaking, but a cold fear was stuck on my back. I looked around myself for a way out, not a way out from people's sight but from the whole world. The preasure I felt in that moment was colossal and it made my eyes get teary. Usually in fairytales when the siblings meet again after a tragic point, they hug each other and confess how much they've missed each presence...but not here.
I couldn't even imagine that I would ever see the one who swore to protect me and show me the brightest side of the world.
I stopped near the river and sat myself down. My breath was out of control and I could barely get it right. I looked at my hands, shaking full of fear but didn't even flinch."Okay...my phone.." searching for my phone in each pocket, I found it in the end. I didn’t even know who I was about to call or if I need someone's shoulder to let all the pressure out. In an instant somehow my finger slipped on Mitsuya's number, calling it. I heard the calling tone two times and then his voice on the other end of the line.
"Hello?"
What shall I do? I freezed myself to death at that point but I had to ask for help in order to be helped and get out of this pain bubble.
"Mitsuya...is Akari. I need...I-.." and there we go, my tears started to roll down my face for the thousand time. I couldn't help it, my heart felt like it was someone stepping on it from a high place.
"I am on my way!" he hanged up on me without even asking. I felt bad, what if he'll go the wrong way and blame me for not saying anything. I had to tell him that the fight is near and I don't even feel ready to face my brothers.
I broke down in tears, covering my face with my hands, trying somehow to hold it together. It felt cold, even the slightest breeze felt so cold that my bones were hurting. Not even noticing, a motorcycle sound was near, approaching even closer to the ende I was on.
I turned myself around and saw Mitsuya, running down hill to me. He stopped when he reached the bottom and sat on his knees next to me. It was so quiet and the silence was even worse because I felt like I couldn't breathe.
"What happened?" he was trying to control his breathe pretty hard, as his hands was on my shoulder.
"I went to thw tattoo shop and then...then to the spa and saw Ran."
"Did he do something to you? Are you hurt somewhere?" as his words came out of his mouth, his eyes were looking around me to make sure I have no scars or bruises. Seeing me tremble, he took off his jacket and placed it on my back, giving me a smile.
"Remember when you told me to smile when I'm around you? Well you gotta do the same so then we shall be matching."
He was so careful with his words, giving me the warmth I need at that point. Not even flinching, I looked at him. "I took a vase and smashed it in his head..."
Well that look on his face, says it all. I have no clue if he was scared, surprised or amused but alll he did was to pat my head, smiling. "Hahaha, well you can say that the reality hit him hard. Don't worry too much, we'll go through this all together. You don't have to be scared because you're not alone Akari and you don't have to fight alone since we are all here."
What does this guy means by all? The only people at this time on the river side edge is me and you, probably being judged by old people that are passing. I closed my eyes for a second, opening it them again since a few voices running downhill made themselves heard.
"AKARIII" yes, I know that one...couldn't get any better, huh?
I felt a warm hug and two hands searching my body for scars or bruises. "Akari, who was it? What happened? Who is the fucker who dared to make you cry?"
"Ken...it's fine, I am okay hah. Do not worry, I have no scars or so but I do have some traumatic shit going on." he suddenly got up and looked at me, showing both of his fists.
"I will find the fucker and make sure to give him a nice make up from a specific professional stylists like me."
"Draken, it was Ran. He was in the same place as Akari and probably something went off since she....smashed a vase in his head." Mitsuya couldn't keep quiet so his words went off.
Mikey's face and Draken's face were a mess, did they took it as a joke? If so then I will have to say it later. "I think they are ready to fight but they actually don't want us to go to them, but take the advantage of coming to us when we are not ready."
"And how do you know that?"
"After I went outside of the spa, I saw Rindou...he went inside with a few men after laughing and 'munching' on the words victory. I figured it out on their look that it will have this advantage afterall."
"Akari, who told you we are not ready?" Mikey's face expression changed, making him look too searious for his actual age.
"We are ready, but waiting for their move. We've sent Pah and Pey outside so we are expecting word from them anytime. For the time being please don't interfere too much and this is an order from me."
Excuse me? Did he just..? "Mikey, do I look like I take orders?" I stood up for a second, looking blindly in his eyes. "Even if is you, Ken, my brothers or any other person, I will NEVER take orders just like such a slut."
"But what if it was Baji?"
It felt like the world stopped and the time was even worse. I couldn't move when I heard that name so all I could do was stand still.
"Now if you care for Baji, listen to me and stay still until this shit is over. I am fone losing people for the sake of others so put your shit together and listen one time in your life."
No wonder...I was this weak.
