Chapter 12

Day 95: AJ Lee

"Hey Brie!" I try to get her attention but she just turns away from me. "Babe?" I wave and look back at Nikki, she just shrugs.

"Hey AJ."

"Oh, hey Paige. What's up?" I turn away from Brie and face Paige.

"Nothing much, you did great out there."

"Aww, thank you." I smile as Paige smiles at me.

"Do you wanna hang out after?" I shrug.

"Sure, I have nothing else to do."

"Alright, I'll see you after then?"

"Yes."

"Alright pumpkin." she gives me a hug and walks away.

Dolph Ziggler:

"I'm so confused right now." I nod in agreement with Nikki. I watch as AJ and Paige smile and then talk. Brie was totally ignoring everything they were saying.

Paige gives AJ a hug and walks away.

"You gonna say something to her?"

"Ill try but-" a resonating slap echoes through the room and Nikki and I turn our heads. AJ was standing there, holding her cheek as Brie glares down at her. Layla walks up behind Brie and shake Her head at AJ. Brie and Layla then walk away together.

"What the fuck just happened?" my mouth pops open.

"I have no idea."

Paige:

I round the corner just in time to see Brie turn to AJ and smack her. AJ's hand cups her cheek. I couldn't see AJ's face considering I was behind her but Layla walks towards AJ and snarls. Layla looks up at me, sending me a quick wink before turning to Brie. They walk away and I take a deep breath in and walk past AJ. I stop and look back at her, a concerned look on my face.

"Hey AJ, you ok?" AJ's mouth was open as she shook her head. I pull her into a hug as she cries into my chest. "What happened?"

"Brie slapped me."

"What? Why?"

"I-I don't know."

"You two are still together, right? That's insane that she would slap the love of her life."

"I just don't know what I did wrong." AJ mumbles. Maybe this wasn't a good idea.

Brie Bella:

"Are you gonna be ok?" I look down at Layla and begin crying. "Oh dear." Layla pulls me into a hug.

"I thought she loved me." I sniffle, "I thought she genuinely cared but now she's cuddling up to Dolph on the beach and hugging Paige. I don't know what to think anymore."

"Sweetie, I'm sure she still loves you." I look into Layla's eyes. She gives me a smile, "I don't think anything is going on between her and Paige or Dolph."

"You think that?"

"I know that."

Layla:

I know I'm supposed to be sticking to the plan but watching Brie cry over AJ, it hurt. Brie genuinely cares for AJ and I'm beginning to think what Paige is doing is wrong.

"C'mon. Let's get you washed up and..." I stop as we round the corner. A gasp escapes Brie as we look on.

Phil steps towards AJ, grabs her and pulls her into a kiss.

"Oh my god." Brie whispers beside me. AJ pulls away and looks up at him.

I look over to Paige, who had the same shocked expression on her face. I look towards Nikki, Dolph, Zack and Alicia. Dolph was going red while the others just stared in shock.

I look back to AJ. She grabs Phil and pulls him into a deep and passionate kiss.

I look up at Brie, tears streamed down her face as she collapsed to the ground. I just stood there shocked.
