Chapter 23

Can't wait for Night of Champions tonight. I predict Baron is gonna debut tonight with Dean and Roman. Someone is gonna make a return and Charlotte is gonna win the Divas Championship.

Sasha Banks:
It was July 15. Wednesday. 4 more days until AJ returns and we take out those pathetic Bella Twins and Paige. Charlotte and Becky unfortunately have to deal with the consequences.
I walk into the main foyer of AJ's new house and I smile when her dog runs towards me.
"Hey cutie." I bend down to pick up the small Chihuahua.
"Hey Mercedes." I look up and smile as I watch the girl I've grown to love over the past few weeks walk towards me in nothing more than sweats and a tank top.
I stand up, dropping my duffel bag and I wrap my arms around the petite Puerto Rican. I could feel her snake her arms around my waist and she pulls me closer.
"I'm glad you're here, Mercedes." AJ mumbles into my chest. I pull away and notice her tear stained cheeks.
"April, what's wrong?"
"I messed up."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean Kaitlyn left me." I give AJ an incredulous look, "she's comparing what we have to what her and I have."
"That's stupid, April. What we have is way different than what you two have."
"I know!" April rubs her forehead, "I tried to tell her that but she wasn't having any of it! She said that Bayley and her think that's its best if they separated themselves from us."
"Wait, Bayley? As in my girlfriend, your best friend? As in Pamela Martinez, the girl who I talked to on the phone with before I got here? No wonder she sounded so sad." I pull out my phone and call Bayley.
"Hello?"
"Baby, is everything OK?"
"Mercedes, we need a break."
"No, what? Why?"
"I - I can't see you anymore. I'm sorry." I listen to the click and then the dial tone. The phone slips from my grasp and I collapse on the ground. It can't be.

Brie Bella:
I drive towards the gym. A much needed workout was just a few minutes away. I needed to clear my head of everything; AJ, Nikki, Sasha, Naomi, Tamina, Becky, Charlotte and Kaitlyn. I needed to forget about that night with Phil. I needed to forget about those cold nights after AJ and I broke up. I needed to forget when my sister told me she liked AJ. I needed to forget everything.
I head to the punching bag and begin striking the bag quickly before giving up on tactic and just going blow for blow.

I collapse onto the bench and take a drink. I look around the gym; Nikki and Nick were running on the treadmill, Alicia was using the weights and...AJ?
AJ was doing pull ups on the bar, her earphones in her ear and probably on blast. I smile when I remember walking in on her in her personal gym, she was in a plank position with some dumb bells and I didn't realize she had her headphones in so I began rambling about something and 15 minutes later she stood up and faced my direction, her headphones dangling out of her shirt. She smirked at me and asked: "good conversation with yourself?" That's when I rolled my eyes and laughed. I knew we were destined to be together from then on.
"Brianna." I blink, forcing myself to stop thinking about the good times. "You OK?" I blink again and realize AJ was standing in front of me, staring at me with a confused expression.
"What?"
"Are you OK? You were staring at me."
"I'm fine." AJ gives me a look but drops the subject. She turns around and walks away. I sigh and get up. My muscles were killing me but I needed to get out of the same room as the Black Widow.

Nikki Bella:
3 more days until Battleground.
3 more days and then Brie will finally be forced to talk to me.
I drive towards a coffee shop and step inside, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled my nostrils and caused me to smile. I order a drink before sitting down at a table in the corner.
I grab my phone out and decide to text the one person who's betrayed me and someone close to me.
Nikki ~ hey
AJ ~ who's this?
Nikki ~ its Nicole
AJ ~ what?
Nikki ~ how are you?
AJ ~ I'm...OK
Nikki ~ what's wrong?
AJ ~ Kaitlyn and I broke up
Nikki ~ why!? You 2 were cute 2gether
AJ ~ she thinks I'm cheating on her
Nikki ~ what!? Ur the most loyal person I know!
AJ ~ that's saying something. You only know one who isn't loyal.
I shut my phone off when she says that. She was speaking truth, Brie is unfaithful. She's cheated on AJ twice; once with Phil, the other with Paige.
I sigh and get up. I grab my cup and head back to the car. I needed to have a talk with my twin.
