Chapter 15

Day 109: Nikki Bella

I walk into catering to see Dolph and AJ sitting together. She laughs before Kaitlyn, Zack, Paige and...the Shield boys? What the hell were they doing there?
I sit beside John and motion towards them.
"What are they doing there?"
"I heard AJ and Seth teamed up in FCW against Dean and Aksana and Paige's first appearance in NXT was with Seth so I guess they're friends." John shrugs and turns back to his food. Daniel and Brie join us but Brie sits with her back to AJ.
"So, are you two ready for Wrestlemania?"
"Its kinda cool all of us have a match. John, you have one against Rusev. Daniel, you have one with R Truth, Dean, Cody, Wade, Luke and Blondie and Nikki and I have one against the geeks." I look up at John in shock, his blue eyes widen as he looks over Brie's shoulder. I look towards their group to see Dean hoist AJ over his shoulder and run.
"Dean!" she squeals while laughing. I watch as Brie goes rigid as they run past us laughing.
"I have to go." Brie gets up, grabs her purse and walks out.

AJ Lee:

"Deanie! No!" I squeal as we run past multiple Superstars. I look behind me to see Titus and Darren laughing. They wave and I give them the middle finger salute.
Dean runs back into catering and plops me back down beside Dolph. I smack his arm before laughing and I take a drink of water. I smirk as I splash Dean with it and duck under the table. I cling to Kaitlyn's leg and I could hear her laughing.
"AJ, you might be my life partner but that does not give you a reason to hump my leg."
"Woof, woof." I could hear them laughing as I crawl back up and sit on the bench. Kaitlyn pulls me in for a hug and kisses my cheek before pushing me away and sticking her tongue out at me. I pretend to bite it but accidentally catch it between my teeth. She begins laughing, as do I which makes me bite down harder.
"Oog, urgh gnna bite oth ma kung." (By the way, I legitimately held my tongue while writing that sentence so I could get the sounds right.)
I open my mouth and Kaitlyn frowns as she holds her tongue between her two fingers.
"I'm sorry, Kaity."
"You're forgiven!" she gives me a hug and I glance at my watch, it was nearly time for my signing.
"Alright guys...and girls, I'm gonna go change. I'll catch ya later." I smile and skip away.

Brie Bella:
I walk into the locker room and fix my hair and dress.
"You look beautiful." I jump as AJ appears behind me. She brushes through her hair before curling it slightly. She places her glasses on her face before looking at me. "I love your dress, and hair." she smiles and sits on the couch, scrolling through her phone. I watch her for a while before fixing my lips. I straighten out my dress and tuck a few loose strands of hair in before sitting beside AJ to slip on my heels.
"Those must be killer." I give her a confused look. "The shoes, they must be tiresome."
I shrug, "if it's a long day, yeah. But short meet and greets where I'm mostly sitting, it's fine." I slip on the second shoe and stand up, again fixing the dress. I could feel AJ touch my back and I immediately turn around.
"You're zipper was undone."
"Oh." I turn back around and she zips up the rest of the dress. She rubs her hands over my shoulders and arms before sitting back down. I look at her and smile.
"Thank you."
"Anytime, Brieezy." she smiles before getting up, grabbing her phone and fixing her shirt before slipping out the door. I check my own phone.

Daniel: Hey, you with AJ
Brie: yeah, she just fixed my dress...
Daniel: and you didn't ask her to?
Brie: no.
Daniel: alright, I'll see you later.

I put my phone away before walking down the halls. I enter catering and sit beside Nikki. John and Daniel had meet and greets to attend to, and after that some interviews.
"So Bryan texted me saying you and AJ were together." Nikki looks at me.
"Yeah, it was weird. I entered the locker room and she immediately compliments me, twice. Then as I sit down to put on my heels, she says it must be hard to walk in heels and then as I get up, she zips up my dress, and smoothes out the shoulders and arms."
"Wow, that is weird."
"Its the first time we've talked since she slapped me a week ago."
"It was a week ago? God, it felt like months ago."
"Yeah, I know." Nikki gives me a sympathetic look.
"It's gonna be ok, Brie."
"And what made it even more weird is she called me Brieezy." Nikki gives me a shocked look. I sigh before looking at the table. If AJ's trying to make this hard for me, she's doing a great job at it.
"You'll get her back, B. Don't worry."
"It's hard not to when she has Paige ans Dolph and now Dean."
"Don't worry about them, alright?" I nod and Nikki gives me a hug.
