Chapter 5

Day 22: AJ Lee

"AJ, I want to apologize for my actions last week." I glare at Paige as she stands on the edge of the ring. "I want to apologize for embarrassing you in front of your little girlfriend."
"Paige, I suggest you back off of AJ. She's...she's....she's my girlfriend." I look at Dolph like he had grown two heads. He bends down and places his lips next to my ear.
"You wanna keep this a secret, play along." I nod and step closer to him.
"What?" Paige yells and she steps into the ring.
"You can look but you can't touch." Nikki and Brie run down and slip into the ring, grabbing each of Paige's arms. I kick her in the head just as the Bella's let go of her arms. Paige falls to the mat and we stand above her, holding our hands high in the air.

I skip into catering and plop down beside Zack.
"Hey Zacky."
"Zacky? That's a new one." He chuckles and gives me a side hug. Brie, Nikki, Dolph and Layla soon join us. Brie sits beside me, Nikki on the opposite side of her and Dolph and Layla on the other side of the table.
"So, what's with Paige? Is she jealous?" Layla says in between mouthfuls. I laugh but shrug.
"I don't kmow, she just...she just has a mental stability of a nine year old. If she doesn't get what she wants then she figures no one else can have it. And in that case, it would be me."
"But you and Brie are so cute together." I look over at Brie and smile. She gives me a kiss on the cheek and I lean my head on her shoulder.
"Aww." Layla squeals and we all laugh. "I want to take a picture of that." I glance at Brie and smile for the picture. Layla puts her phone away and I look at Zack's phone. He was texting Eve.
"Dude, she's bad news for you." Zack sighs and drops his head on the table.
"I know."
"Give me your phone."
"What?"
"Give me your phone."
"No, why?"
"Give it here Mr. Ryder or I will tackle you to the ground and forcibly take it from you."
"Fine." He places the phone in the palm of my hand and I send Eve a text and block her number. I then send Alicia Fox a quick message.

Zack ~ Hey, Alicia. Want to go for dinner tonight?
Alicia ~ Sure.

I hand Zack back his phone and he looks at the message. He then looks up at me.
"Thanks, AJ."
"Anytime." I give him a smile and look at Brie, she was looking across the room. I look to who she was looking at. Paige.
Paige sends me a flirty wink and I quickly let go of Brie's hand and get up from the table.
"AJ, where are---" Dolph looks behind him and he gets up as well, grabbing my arms from behind and hauling me out of the room.

Brie Bella:
If Paige was trying to get on my nerves, she's doing a hell of a job at it.
AJ gets up from the table, as does Dolph and he grabs her and hauls her from the room. I look back at Nikki.
"I think she's managing to get under AJ's skin, which isn't an easy task."
"I know." I look at Layla. She was eating her food as if nothing happened. I excuse myself and walk up to Paige and pull her from the room. I slam her into the wall and glare at her.
"What the hell are you trying to do?"
"AJ is mine! I want her!"
"She doesn't want you, Paige. She is getting sick and tired of you bringing her personal life into this. Maybe if you actually stopped bringing personal lives into this, you would have more friends."
"I do have friends!"
"Yeah, girls who are just going to leave you the minute you bring up their personal life. No one likes you Paige."
"AJ does. We're best friends."
"She hates you."
