Chapter 22

So, congratulations to Bayley and Sasha for that awesome match at TakeOver! And congratulations to Bayley for finally becoming the NXT Women's Champion!

AJ Lee:
It was July 14, which means that Battleground was this Sunday. Which means I'm coming back to take out Paige, Brie and Nikki, and their respective teams.
"Hey baby." I look up from my phone and smile at Kaitlyn, she was just entering the kitchen.
"Morning, how are you?" she looks over at me, those green eyes looking into mine.
"I'm good, I'm excited for you and Sasha."
"My Battleground return? Yeah, I'm pretty psyched. Now I get to take out Paige and the Bella Twins."
"That's my girlfriend." I giggle and look down at my phone to see Phil calling me. I pick it up and place the phone next to my ear.
"Hello?"
"Hey AJ, it's Phil."
"Oh, you. What do you want?"
"Don't sound so excited to talk to me." I place the phone down and place it on speaker.
"Trust me, I'm not. What do you want?"
"So, is it true?"
"What?"
"You're dating Kaitlyn?" I look up at Kaitlyn and smile.
"Why is it your business?"
"Well, since you were the one to break it to the world that I cheated on you with Lita..."
"I don't owe you anything, Phil."
"But you do."
"How?"
"I broke you up with that skank, Brie Bella."
"Listen here you son of a bitch. Brie was not a skank. She was sweet and caring and loving, nothing you ever were. She supported the decisions I made and she supported me in my matches. What did you do, huh? You played video games and read comic books like a lazy ass. You didn't give a damn about me!" Kaitlyn grabs my phone and hangs up before slipping my phone in her pocket. "I was talking to him!" I scream at her.
"He was provoking you."
"Can I have my phone back?" kaitlyn slowly slips it out of her pocket and hands it to me. I pull it to my chest and hiss at her before turning away and walking out.

Sasha Banks:
Tonight was SmackDown takings and I had an interview to do with Naomi and Tamina about our new teammate who'll be joining us soon.
"You ready, champ?"
"Absolutely. Let's go kill this." we walk towards the monitors and rewatch my debut on RAW before JoJo interrupts.
"Excuse me, ladies. If I could get your reaction to what we just witnessed," Tamina clears her throat, "in just one night, the entire Divas Division was turned upside down." Naomi and I exchange looks.
"Well of course it was," Naomi says, "it's because finally the odds are even. I mean Tamina and I have been down with each other, we've been riding together. But now, we got the NXT Women's Champion, Sasha Banks, with us."
"You already know what's true," I look at JoJo, "the boss is here in the WWE. It's our time to takeover. It's our time to run this Divas Division. The Bella Twins? Fox? Paige and her little friends, Charlotte and Becky. They wanna step to us? They think that they can take us? Well we'll handle our business. And with out newest team member, we'll be hitting the Bella's and Paige right where it hurts." I smirk and walk away.
"Banks, wait up." I stop and turn around, "so, is she actually coming back?"
"Yes she is. We'll take down the Bella's and we'll take down Paige." Naomi smirks and we fistbump before she turns around. She pauses and looks back at me.
"How bad do you think this'll hurt Brie?"
"Pretty bad."
"Good. See you around, Banks." I smirk and call up AJ.
"Hello?"
"Hey, it's Banks." I could hear shuffling and then some car honk, "did I get you at a bad time?"
"No, I just stepped out of the restaurant. Anyways, what's up?"
"Oh, are you with her?"
"Just for dinner."
"Alright, I was just gonna say the plan has been set and you're ready. I've put the entire Divas Division on notice."
"You didn't say my name, right?"
"No way. That would ruin all the fun." I could hear her giggle, causing a smile to enter my face.
"Alright Boss, I'll see you soon."
"Which city are you in?"
"I'm back in Wisconsin, but Kaitlyn has to fly to Boca Raton tonight for her Celestial Bodies thing tomorrow."
"Well, I'm in Birmingham, Alabama and I have until Sunday off."
"Great! You can fly down and stay with me until Kaitlyn comes back."
"Sounds great! I'll see you soon." I hang up and turn the corner, almost colliding into Brie and Alicia. Brie sticks her hand out and smiles.
"Hey, good job out there."
"Thanks, you too."
"And good promo." I could hear footsteps behind me. I look over my shoulder to see pale skin and black ring gear.
"Is there a problem here?" Naomi, Charlotte, Becky and Tamina appear. Brie smirks at me before releasing my hand.
"No problem at all." Becky grabs my hand and pulls me towards her. Naomi places her hands on my shoulder and we watch as Paige, Brie and Alicia walk away.
"You good." I glare after the three women retreating.
"I'm fine."

Brie Bella:
"So, did you hear the name of the person she was talking to?"
"All I know is this person is with a girl and that's it."
"Damn." I look down at my phone to see a tweet Sasha sent out.
@SashaBanksWWE: It's only just the beginning! #BAD
There was a picture of her, Naomi and Tamina together in the ring included in the tweet.
Well Sasha, you're damn right it's just the beginning.

AJ Lee:
I head into the bedroom and sit on the bed as Kaitlyn packed her suitcase.
"I'm gonna miss you."
"Who were you talking to?"
"What?"
"When we were at dinner, someone phoned you and you walked out. Who was it?"
"It was Mercedes. She wanted to know if I was still gonna be at Battleground."
"Do you like her?" kaitlyn stops packing, "Bayley and I have noticed how much you two talk to each other. I notice how big of a smile you have when you talk to her or when her name is mentioned."
"You're my girlfriend, Kait."
"But you call her by her real name, and you call me by my ring name."
"Celeste, you are my best friend."
"Exactly. I'm just your best friend." Celeste zips up her suitcase and turns to me. "I'll see you around, friend." she walks out.
