Avengers Parallel

Ch. 5 "Encounter"

                                           Cameron POV 

"Cameron..." Dad I mean Steve said in somewhat of a shocked tone, 

He stepped towards me, 

There was a somewhat gentle relaxed and relieved expression on his face, 

"Cameron that's not your father," I hear Pierce 

I shook my head from the daze, 

"Right.." I mumbled 

I quickly spun around shooting an arrow at the opposite building and zip lined to it, 

"No!" I hear, 

I was about half way to the building when a shield cut the line, 

Now I'm swinging like George of the jungle, 

I see I'm not too far from the ground and let go,

I tuck and roll on to the ground,

Landing with a thud, I quickly stand up seeing Da- I mean Steve standing on the roof looking down at me, he had his hand pressed to his ear and his lips were moving, 

No doubt contacting them, 

I took off running, I round the corner, and to my surprise I'm met with Robots and rehabilitated civilians, 

"Capture Rogers child," The robots said aiming at me, 

Rogers child? I thought 

They shot at me, and I dodged, 

The robots and Civilians surrounded me, 

"Stay put were going to retrieve you-" Pierce said 

"No! you have your orders, if I lose I will deal with it, you need to help her first, she's the priority make sure you check for any kind of tracking devices," I said as I sliced some of the robots in half, 

"You can't be serious?" He said 

"Deadly I've been in situations like this before," I said kicking a civilian in the head making him fall to the ground but got right back up, 

It's as if they don't feel any kind of pain, I thought 

"Yeah, but the high commander and his team have you ever faced that?" He said 

"No, but I've faced you, HYDRA Thanos, Ultron, the list goes on and on," I said slicing another robot, 

"Yeah well this is much worse which is saying something,' Pierce said 

"Man you are not like the Pierce from my earth that's for sure, he didn't complain as much as you do," I said 

I hear snickering in the background, 

I jumped over many of the civilians that feel no pain, I was getting close to my destination 

But the problem was, I was hurt badly from being tossed around by Bucky, then being attacked by Da- I mean Steve, 

This is going to be an adjustment not calling him dad, 

But bottom line is I was getting tired, very tired, out of breath, 

Just as I was making it outside of the city, a shield knocked me right off my feet, causing me to roll, 

I groaned in pain, 

My breathing ragged, using my forearms to push myself off of the ground, Standing on my feet, swaying as I stood, 

I see Steve and Bucky standing there, 

"Don't you remember me sweetheart," Steve said 

How would he know me, as far as I know there is no Cameron on this earth, I mean they never told me other wise, 

My breathing was ragged, 

"I didn't think you would run from your father's" Steve said 

Father's? 

Tony landed next to Steve, 

What the hell is going on, 

"Kid seems speechless," Tony said 

"Your not my father.." I said 

Bucky Chuckled, 

"She speaks," Bucky said 

"Of course we are sweetheart," Steve said 

He took a step towards me, 

"No your not, my father wouldn't destroy the world like this, my father is kind, thoughtful, he wouldn't hurt people like this," I said as I backed up with every step he took towards me, 

"It needed to be done, to ensure the safety of this world," Steve said 

"At what cost, look what you've done to this earth," I said 

Tony flipped his helmet and arched his brow, 

"This earth?" Tony said 

Oh crap, wish I could take that one back, 

"Your from a parallel earth aren't you?" Tony said chuckling, 

All three of them chuckle 

"Figures the rouges getting desperate, so desperate that they would bring a child," Bucky said 

"Regardless of what earth you are from you are still our daughter," Steve said 

"No I'm not, my dad wouldn't do this," I said shaking my head, 

"You will learn kid that all we do is to keep you and everyone safe," Tony said 

"This isn't the right way, taking away people's wills, their rights, it's not right," I said as tears welled up in my eyes, 

Sure he wasn't really my dad, or his friends, but it still hurt, it hurt so bad, that everyone I love is evil here, 

"It is what had to be done, this is the new order, to ensure control and no high crime or villains, we have done what's necessary," Bucky said 

"It's Wrong! don't you see that?!" I said 

"You don't understand you are a child" Tony said 

"Cameron get out of there!" Pierce said 

I did as I was told, 

I took off running toward the woods, I knew I had to shake them before heading to the underground base,
