Ch. 26 "Rejection"

                                          Cameron POV 

Darkness is  all I can remember. It's taking everything within me to just open my eyes. The sound of a beating rhythm from a heart monitor is on of the sounds I can hear. the other is muffled yelling and talking. 

My eyelids slowly crack open. I look up at a unfamiliar ceiling. Something was wrong very wrong. My body feels like it's on fire from the inside out, My body feels like it weighs a ton, I am sweating like I just ran a marathon. What is happening to me...

I my eyelids are too heavy to keep open so I slowly drift off into darkness again. 

                                               Commander Steve POV 

I had my arms crossed and Bruce and Tony started explaining everything to us, It's me, Bucky, Tony and Bruce. 

Cameron hasn't woken up since I found her in the hallway her vitals off the charts, her temperature getting higher by the minute. 

"So we ran some tests and...." Bruce said trailing off 

"And what?" Bucky said getting irritated just as much as I am. 

"It's not good." Tony responded 

"What's wrong with her?" I asked 

"It's her DNA." Bruce said 

"Huh? What does that have to do-" I began 

"With anything, glad you asked remember when we first found out about her being Cameron and I said her body temperature ran colder than anyone on our earth?" Tony began 

We all nodded 

"See that's where it gets kinda  interesting, Her body is rejecting the elements from this earth, Her body was born and raised on her earth her body is accustomed to that earth." Tony said 

Me and Bucky nodded 

"Her body is um. Realizing it's in the wrong place." Bruce said picking his words carefully 

"In laminas terms her body is refusing this earth." Tony said 

"What can we do?" I asked 

I was so dumbstruck by this, I just finally got her back I can't lose her now! I thought getting angry 

"We have two possible options, Go to her earth collect elements mix it with this earth and her body will readjust." Bruce said 

"Or Find someone with her blood type and let the blood cells from that donor take over her blood cells, but that might cause her to go into shock and die." Tony said 

Going to her earth will be way too risky, Sure we put Nano explosives in the heroes from her earth but what about the other's that didn't come here, I can't chance that when she's already suffering. 

"What blood type is she?" I asked 

"A Positive." Tony said 

"Your blood type," Tony said 

I nodded 

We walked into the room to see she ripped everything off of her, 

"Cameron you need to-" I began but suddenly she tackled me which surprised me

She had her sword to my throat. 

"Your never going to hurt me again! You and dad are never going to lock me in that freezer again!" She yelled her eyes filled with such hate. 

The sweat just dripping from her skin. 

"Cameron that's enough," I said 

"you are both going to pay for what you did! You're all going to pay!" She was glaring at me with such hate. 

"She's hallucinating," Tony said 

Bucky grabbed a needle from the nearby drawer. jamming it in her neck. She dropped the sword hitting the floor making a metallic sound as it hit the floor. 

"Your- Your all going to pay..." Her words getting slower. 

I sat up picking her up. 

"We need to do this sooner rather than later," I said laying her on the bed seeing she fell back asleep. 

Tony nodded pulling a chair next to the bed and grabbing the supply's. 

"Have a seat while I get every thing to do this." Tony said
