You tried to breathe slowly, inhaling and exhaling slowly. Your insides were churning and felt like they were battling with each other. You watched as people poured in, some looking at you. Oh, God. Why didn't you stay home?

You noticed the Big Three walking in and headed straight to you. Man, you wanted nothing more than to go home.

"Hey!" Nejire squealed, causing you to wince a little. She could be quite loud, you'd learned. "You don't look so good," Mirio stated. Tamaki looked at you and you could see he knew exactly how you felt. You turned to give the other two a weak smile.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just not feeling that good." You heard Tamaki mumbling something. "What did you say, Tamaki?"

"I said I could... walk you home? I don't think the teachers would mind, this event isn't school-related." Your stomach settled a little when you thought of walking home with Tamaki. You gave him a weak smile. "Yeah, I'd love that, Tamaki."

"I didn't know it was that bad." Tamaki started. "You seemed like you wanted to get out of that room so badly." You focused on kicking a pebble on the sidewalk and felt a little embarrassed when you missed it.

"Yeah, I'm not a fan of big crowds. Too many people can scare me." You looked at Tamaki, who looked away when you saw him.

"I know exactly how you feel. Next time, just try to picture them as potatoes. Always helps me out." You let out a small laugh. How could one person be so cute?

"Thanks Tamaki. I appreciate the tip," you smiled at him. He looked at you and gave you the prettiest smile you've seen.

"Hey, uh, is it fine if I... hold your hand?" Just as you opened your mouth to answer, he spoke again. "Of course, you don't have to. I mean-"

You cut him off by taking his hand in yours, making sure to lock your fingers with his. Your heart was beating faster, but in a way that made you feel good. He froze for a second, then relaxed and carried on walking with you. You could make out another one of his nervous smiles, and you couldn't stop your own.

Two nervous wrecks walked to the one's house, mostly in comfortable silence. Later, they'd promised that they'd both do their best to make the other feel at home when their own seemed too far away.

That way, you'd never long for home too much if you'd felt it with each other.
