change of plans

Alex, Seele, Kiana, Delta, and a male named jacob were in the meeting room. it was quiet for a while before Alex said "so, were the scouts able to get a read from the device?" Jacob nodded "we were, their leader is the one with the highest concentration of energy, maybe that's the reason why she is in charge?" Alex nodded "a likely reason, if it's manipulation, controlling or something else, then I'll need to take her down, after that she shouldn't have any influence." Delta then said "and that's when I kill her." Kiana then said "so how secure is their base?" Jacob then said "it's built out of the remains of the nearby buildings. so concrete, steel, bricks you name it. punching a hole in their defences should be easy, once you are inside of course. We have quite a few kilograms of explosives. should be enough to break down a wall." Delta then said "what time would be appropriate?" Alex thought about it and said "at dusk, a nighttime raid would be dangerous but they have impaired vision, and a daytime one is risky, but means we won't confuse anyone. which is why I suggested dusk, impaired vision for them, less confusion for us." After the meeting Alex, Kiana and seele got ready and Alex said "we re going to have to leave shortly after defeating project end, the energy won't be stable for long and that's our ticket outta here." Kiana nodded and seele said "alright."

The trio exited the base with Delta catching up and the other soldiers leaving shortly, Alex said "what is the signal?" Delta replied with "they'll engage once the explosive goes off. Kiana I trust you to plant it?" Kiana nodded "good, Seele stay with Kiana."

As they reached the area Alex pulled our some binoculars and said "alright, the entrance is clear. We move now." As they slid down the hill getting themselves dusty. Upon approaching Alex let off a burst of energy breaking down the gate and knocking down some of the cultists the four of them ran through and started to take down as much as possible. Alex and Delta ran towards the main sanctum of project end and as they entered two cultists were being enhanced and Alex said "so that's how." Project end saw Alex and said "you, how do you keep finding me?" The finished enhancing the two cultists and said "get the pink one, the boy is mine." Alex stared daggers at project end and said "once I am done with you you'll return to normal." Project end laughed "even before project end I was a ruthless leader." As Alex punched punched her in the face and she stuck back. Alex felt it, but knew what to do and shocked her with a blast, getting knocked down just long enough for Alex to remove the project end energy.

Kiana and seele had gotten trapped the explosive was too close for them to set it off and the cultists corned them Kiana said "Alex, I hope everything is going smoothly." As the surrounding people got closer they fell. "what the, i-is this Alex's doing?" Kiana then ran to the room alex went to and saw him and Delta over the leader. "Alex, did you get her?" Alex nodded "yep, project end is no more. in this world at least. Like before, project end can empower and control other individuals." Delta then looked at the leader and said "You failed." Before grabbing her greatsword and chopping her head clean off. Before Alex created a portal he said to delta "look, if you need our help with anything, then take this." Alex used a bit of energy to create a small orb thing and said "that is a portal ball, crush it and you'll be transported to the multiverse." Delta nodded putting it in a pouch, "thanks, I hopefully won't need to use it ever." Alex smiled and created a portal for him, Kiana and seele to enter.

upon leaving Kiana said to Alex "so how are we going to land, in our world safely?" Alex then said "I'll try my best to get us onto the hyperion, it'll be risky." As Alex thought hard he opened another portal on the other side and saw the hyperion deck, he fell and landed on his back like both Kiana and Seele. They stood up and Kiana said "that was painful, but we made it." Alex sat up and smiled "I did it, I was successful in make my own portal to the hyperion."

Delta was in the springs relaxing, it had been the first time in ages that she didn't have to worry about a conflict and protecting the others, as she shut her eyes she heard the voice of a woman "hello, delta, you are wanted." She recognized the voice and said "Zhuge, I thought you and the captain had a falling out?" Zhuge then said "that was a ruse, get dressed and come with us." Delta sighed and put her battlesuit on making sure to keep the object hidden.

Alex was having a shower, his skin was red from the sun beating down on him, after getting out and getting dressed, he decided to start on the report and wrote down everything starting from arriving at the world. As he was doing so he began to feel a bit tired. He decided to hold off on the report this time and went to bed.

Theresa was outside Alex's room and she was nervous, she was thinking if she should tell Alex now, as she went to knock Kiana said "auntie, are you ok?" Theresa jumped and said "please don't scare me like that." Kiana chuckled and said "sorry, just wondering if you're ok, and why are you standing outside Alex's door?" Theresa got embarrassed and ran off. leaving Kiana to look confused.

"captain." Said delta. "ah you're here, good, that boy you met up with, Alex was it." Delta stepped back "how did you know that?" Her captain then said "Zhuge kongming has met him before, we need to kill him." Delta then said "why, he helped me?" The captain then grabbed her collar and said "because he is a danger."

It was now morning and theresa was outside Alex's room, she knocked and Alex said "come in." Theresa opened the door and slowly walked in seeing Alex work on his report. The walked up to him and said "I err, needed to talk to you, it's about Otto wanting to pay you." Alex looked up from his report and said "he wants to pay me?" Theresa nodded "yeah, and unfortunaly the won't accept unknown as parents. So..." She then handed Alex the forms "does this mean you'll be my... Mother?" Theresa nodded she was now embarrassed "I-I want to, it was my choice to, and I've been thinking about it for a while." Alex smiled "thanks theresa. err Mom." Theresa chuckled "Alex you can just call me theresa, although being called mom did sound nice."

Kiana and Seele peaked into Alex's room and Kiana said to Mei after the interaction "what's going on?" Mei smiled "Theresa is looking after Alex as her own, like a mother." Kiana looked shocked "wait really, when did you find out?" mei smiled "at dinner a couple of days ago, she said she wanted to do it so he could get paid."

Alex finished the report and put it in the folder next to his desk "That's one more down." Before he left his desk Alex sat back he knew project end energy is coursing through him so he thought about on how he could use them to his advantage before he blows a hole right through the hull of the hyperion.

Alex had sat out on the deck for a couple of hours designing different types of tools to help the valkyries in a battle, and something to help with containment of project end. He decided to start work on something simple, creating a usable weapon, the easiest in his opinion would be scythes, greatswords, katanas, gauntlets and lances, five weapons he knew the crew uses. More difficult would be guns and cannons as more work will have to go into making, but he would eventually do it, and although he wanted to create something for everyone, he had no Idea how one of theresa's crosses worked so he couldn't do it until he got a better understanding on how it worked.
