A powerful foe

The portal opened and Alex was ejected and fell face first into the floor, Rita however landed on her feet and Alex said "Nice landing." Rita helped Alex up and said "thank you." As Alex looked around he realized that he and rita were not on the hyperion he knew and his face turned to a worried one.

Kiana and Seele were holding the portal open for Alex wondering why he hadn't come back yet, Kiana looked worried and said "why, what is happening?" Theresa sighed "shut it down and wait a while I'll go in looking for him once I've prepared."

Alex stepped back only to step on a trap that began to pump him full of project end energy, he knew what was happening and he said to Rita "ARRRGH, rita get out of here, take my bag and use the portal." He then summoned a portal and created an object "use that to override the exit, just get outta here." Rita looked at the bag and said "are you sure?" Alex nodded beginning to lose consciousness "the... pulse, leave before it occurs..." Rita sighed "ok, I hope you are at least ok by the end of this." Alex smiled through his pain "don't worry about me, Now go." As rita left Alex began to the the silhouette of the someone walking close to him.

Theresa was preparing to go in when Kiana came into her room and said "another alert, shall we check it?" Theresa nodded "yeah, any chance to get him back is a good one." Kiana then said "it's strange though, he always says something though." Theresa then said "no matter let's open it. I'm getting more worried."

The portal opened and a woman popped out looking distressed Theresa looked confused "Rita, I thought she went back to HQ last week?" Kiana then said "look, she has longer hair, and is wearing a... dress?" Theresa then remembered the photo and said "I'll be right back." in a stern voice.

Theresa stormed onto the deck and yelled out "I hope, I hope you haven't hurt him!!" The rita looked at theresa with sorrow and theresa said "wha- what's going on?" The rita sighed "He has been captured, someone from my old crew managed to trap him, he told me to leave, to find you." Theresa then said "wait you went with him, is your old crew the one with the othe-" Rita nodded "yes, zhuge kongming, I gave that picture to the other you that is here, the one that looks like you, and that man next to her, she is one of that man's many girlfriends." Theresa then said "come inside, I think chatting would be a good choice."

Alex was trying to stand up the overload of energy was getting to him, the male who he saw before began speaking "good to finally meet you, I've heard so much about you from Zhuge kongming. I know I should kill you, but your power, the multiple yous, hehe, I could cleanse this entire multiverse, of these agents, then I'll kill the production." Alex began to struggle and he said "I-I won't, let, you, do, that, I, can, stop, you." Alex then went for a punch but he was kicked back down shaking "well you still seem like you can hold your own, but for how long?" Alex gritted his teeth, there was no way for him to do anything, he couldn't release energy without passing out, He's too shaky to attack and summoning a portal will kill him. The captain knew this and said "go ahead try something." Alex knew what he needed to do, if he was going to go out, he'd go out on his terms. So he released all of the energy in an attempt to disable the functions of this hyperion.

"I am worried about Alex, our captain is a master of preparations, while he is a little sloppy, he does things quite effective." Rita said "What can we do." Theresa had a smug look on her face, "it's quite obvious, I will use what I can, and rescue my son" She then grabbed a battlesuit that the scientists made for her and said "because, that's what a good mother does." Kiana looked worried, she knew her aunt's mission, and she knew it would be near suicide to go alone, so she spoke up. "I want to help too, Alex is a good friend and I won't stand for someone trying to kill him." Theresa looked at Kiana and said "are you sure?" Kiana was about to speak up when seele said "umm, I'd like to go too, I've been hoping to try out something." Theresa nodded "well if you're confident then I will not stop you from following, but please stay safe."

Alex's blast had a massive radius reaching back over to the bridge, alex puffed a few times before falling to his knees. The captain walked over to him and said "an admirable effort, but it won't work." Alex was still puffing "oh really, was I aiming for you?" The captain laughed "well you aimed everywhere and I was able to collect samples." Alex's eyes widened and said "No, you did what?" The captain then gripped Alex's neck and said "goodb- you know what, no, I'll let you live in a cell, where no project end energy will cycle through." Alex could barely move and said "gr-great...."

Theresa stood in front of the portal, and looked behind herself zach waved and theresa sighed, she had no intent to take Kiana and seele with her. As the two approached theresa said "Kiana, as much as I'd hate to make you hate me, you can't go, it'd just bring more attention to us, you too Seele." Kiana sighed "I know I'm not stronger yet, and I am afraid too, this is someone who takes down powerful beings quite often, I can't offer you much, but I can give you my pistols." Kiana then pulled out some modified pistols and placed them in theresa's hands and she said "I'll use them well." Seele then said "err, I can't think of anything that I might have to help you." Theresa smiled "don't worry, I'll just be getting Alex and escaping, that's all, I won't do any more until a plan has been made."

Alex was dragged into a cell and was locked in and guarded by Delta who said "I'm sorry for this." Alex Sighed "It's fine, just let me die in here." Delta then said "fine then." While guarding Delta thought "I wonder why rita escaped, I though she would've been on board with killing Alex, I'm not but I was forced, did she have plans to help Alex. I should really think about this."

Theresa had entered the portal hoping to get to the right place, she held the override object that rita gave her, and said "If Alex knew he was to get captured he must've made this for rita just in case we wouldn't open it, but we did." She looked at all of the other universes and saw some events happen in some, like with her fighting or Kiana being heroic. As she activated the device she saw another portal open up in front of her and she went through.

The area was dark and Theresa felt that a pulse had happened like the one Alex did. She rushed to the door and hid behind a crate where she heard Zhuge kongming and Bronnie talking. "Delta seems off, ever since she came back she's felt more... depressed?" Bronnie said only for zhuge to say "wouldn't be a long shot to think that the prisoner has been apart the reason why. From the reports we snagged she helped him take down one of the project end thinggies." Theresa looked around and saw a door labeled cells and thought "ok, just got to go when the time is right, that girl delta may be a problem though."

Alex fell asleep, he had no strength to do anything and Delta said "He's asleep? Well would make sense he was pretty weak." As she went back to her post Theresa busted down the door and said "you, I want him." Delta then said "I know I shouldn't give you him, but I just feel bad now, he's fallen asleep." Theresa ran to the cell and said "Alex, can I get him out of here?" Delta nodded "yeah, but you have knock me out first, if I get caught Awake and Alex is gone, I'm going to die." Theresa nodded "fine." theresa then grabbed the pistol and slammed it on delta's neck.

Alex woke up being carried by theresa and he said "eh, what's going on?" Theresa smiled At Alex and said "I got here trying to rescue you, and now I need you to get some energy and force a portal open." Alex nodded and then said "get to the lab first, I'm sure there is a bit there." Theresa smiled bringing Alex to the lab and snagging a canister of project end energy. Saying "this good?" Alex nodded "perfect, thanks."

Theresa ran to the deck still carrying Alex and said "how long would it take for you to open it?" As alarms began to flair and Alex Responded by saying "2 minutes tops, can you defend for that long, m-mom?" Theresa nodded pulling out the large cross "of course." Theresa attacked the endless wave of guards and said "you're nothing but a bunch of swarming assholes, I will not let you hurt my son again, you hear me."

Alex had released the energy and began to absorb it, he couldn't release it all at once out of fear that he will miss too much and be unable to get home. He was going to attempt a trick to get both him and theresa to the space without opening the portal itself but instead teleporting them to it, this however caused problems as such a higher energy count is required just in case.

Theresa saw The captain come out and yelled to Alex "Is that captain looking guy the leader?" Alex looked over to where she was pointing and yelled "yes, get ready, I'm almost done." As he absorbed the last of the energy he yelled "Get over here now!" Theresa picked her cross up and ran to Alex saying "let's go then." Alex then stood up and leaned on theresa "I'm gonna try something new, hold on tight." As the groupes came closer a bright light flashed and the two dissapeared
