Story Eight: Arc City: Part one

Alex Woke up next to a woman, he knew exactly who it was, It was a girl called Raven, he never knew her real name and he never thought to ask. He was in bed with her as the two of them had sex. To them this was normal, they did it almost every week. He didn't know what she did and vice versa. Alex was a solo fighter He never told anyone what he did but he was about to be in for a big surprise.

"Morning." Alex said to raven as he got out of the bed. Raven then sat up and yawned "Morning to you too." She looked over to Alex looking at his phone distressed. "Is everything ok?" Alex looked over and covered his phone. "Y-yeah, Something came up so I'll be unable to hook up with you for a few weeks or months." Raven sighed "Alright, I hear you. I'll be waiting though." Alex nodded "Understandable." Alex then freshened up and got changed before leaving The place. Raven sighed again after he left. She then got a message from jackal saying "Boss wants us at base now, find an excuse to leave your sex partner and come here." Rave got up put on her outfit and left. She then sped off to Heliopolis.

"How did it get out? Who found my Files?" Alex said to himself as he ran to the airport. "I have to find Kiana, it's still prior to when she became the herrscher. I have to get her to help, I might need to wait if she isn't there." He sighed "This is a disaster, I don't even know who project end is yet and I am about to lose my mind if I can't find them."

"Raven." Said the world Serpent "Right on time, we have a serious issue, I have here some info about something called project end. After Someone reported on it I was able to get the Files from an anonymous source and we now can start our plan to kill her." Raven then asked "Why do we need to Kill her anyway?" The world serpent stood up and said "Easy, the person who wants to stop her, just wants to Keep her alive, that is a risk we cannot take. The Files say that he can remove the energy but I think he is doing something stupid. Why would he let a living threat live. He show that they are successful. But how long would she stay dormant for. We need to do research first, then find and kill project end." Both raven and Jackal nodded as they got ready for the research.

As soon as Alex got into Soukai and out of the airport he hauled ass to St freya in hopes that he can contact Kiana. "I can't believe someone found my documents. I am in so much trouble. The schicksal could try to take it on, but what I am more worried about is the world serpent, he will be determined to stop this. I'll keep the world serpent part to myself for now, I just need to know if the schicksal will do anything about it." Alex said to himself as he ran to the school.

Alex got the the school and rushed towards theresa's office "It has been a while since I've seen theresa. I wonder if she knows about it. It was widely spread, so I think it might beneficial for her to know, and Kiana should know about it. That's the only two I can tell about it in detail."

Theresa sat at her desk doing some paperworks when she looked over at a picture of Herself, Kiana and Alex. Unlike before seigfreid stayed in soukai with Kiana and theresa until the herrscher side that plagued Kiana went wild and he stopped it. A short while after this the two met Alex who was slightly older than Kiana. The three then became partners for the years that he stayed. Unfortunately after He left in 2012 Kiana left as well. Theresa eventually reunited with Kiana, but the two never saw Alex again, until this very moment.

"Theresa, a boy would like to see you." Theresa looked up "Send him in." A boy walked in and theresa became excited and ran up to him "Alex? It's been so long." She then hugged him and Alex couldn't help but smile. "Why did you come back?" Theresa said letting go of Alex. Alex then sighed "You heard about project end, right?" Theresa sighed "Yeah, someone leaked a bunch of files retaining to it. I had a meeting with grandpa he said that we should let others take care of it as we are already busy taking care of the honkai." Alex breathed a sigh of relief "Thank god. I guess I was just being a bit paranoid." Theresa looked confused "Huh, what is project end anyway?" Alex shook his head "Ah sorry, I should tell you the details, but I need to tell Kiana about it too." Theresa nodded and smiled "Ah, I'll bring her in." 

Kiana was in class writing down some noted when Himeko said to Kiana "Kiana, theresa wants you in her office, she sounded, excited for some reason." Kiana nodded and said "Ah, ok. I'll head there now then."

"Alright theresa, I'm here what did you want me fo-" She said as she entered the office and Alex and theresa. "Alex!!" She yelled. She then ran up to him and gave him a hug. "I-It's been so long, I-I missed you." Alex smiled "Missed you too Kiana. I see you're a valkyrie now." Kiana chuckled "Yeah, after you left, I went to another school and then the impact happened, I then came back here and started training. Why did you come back though?" Alex sighed "It's happening, I need to stop something, I thought I'd come by and see you as after this I may never see you again." kiana looked like she was going to cry along side theresa. "Never see us again? Why what is happening." Alex shook his head "I'm, sorry, I may come back after this though. It all depends on what happens." Kiana then went to hug Alex again, this time tighter "At least let me come with you, so I protect you." Alex then rubbed Kiana's head and said "You know I can't let you, but I'll be keeping in contact with you every day, so you can make sure I'm safe, how does that sound?" Kiana then pouted and said "Fine, but at least come to the dorm for dinner tonight." Alex smiled "Sounds nice."

Later that day. "So Kiana, why did the principle want to see you?" Said Mei as she was Making dinner. Kiana looked at Mei and smiled "Ah, Theresa will bring it around later." Bronya then looked a Kiana and said "Keeping secrets Subject Kiana?" Kiana then sputtered "Wha, n-no. I did say theresa is bringing it around, so just wait."

Theresa slammed open the door and said "I'm here, and I brought a friend." She then entered with Alex. "This is Alex, Me and Kiana were friends with him, Then he left to do his own thing. But he is back, even though it is for a short time." Alex smiled at the other three "glad to meet you. I hope I can learn a bit about you for the time that I'm here, I do have to leave soon so I want to enjoy my time with you."

4 months later.

"Arc city Huh?" Said Alex looking at the dark city from afar, dropping a cigarette butt onto the wet concrete. "So this is where the world serpent has one of his biggest bases. Well time to pay him a visit." Alex then ran into the city ready blow the base sky high.
