Chapter 1

Y/n's POV:

Today is the last day of Summer. I don't know what I did but it went by so fast. The only thing that I want this year is to hang out more often with my friends and make new friendships. I'm not gonna talk about me getting bullied everyday by some "popular" kids out there. They wish they were popular. You don't know how much I miss my best friends rn. They're like a family to me. They live far tho :(

I stared at the ceiling being in my own thoughts as my father says. And he's always right. I take a deep breath and head downstairs to the living room. I run down the stairs and see my dad lying on the sofa. "Hey dad!" I say. "Hey Y/n" he says back. I run and jump to the spot right next to him. "Finally you came out of your room." My mom says mocking me. "Yeah I did. Does that hurt you?" I say pulling my phone out of my pocket. Ugh my mom when it comes to her she always thinks she's right and she always gets in a fight with me for no reason at all. Acually she's my second mom since my dad divorced my real mom. Damn what a toxic person. "Y/n don't talk to your mother like that" he says taking my phone away. "Dad come on she's not even my real mom. Why should I be nice while she's being a total brat to me?" I ask grabbing my phone from his hands. "Y/n!" Josh yells from the doorframe. "What? Am I not right tho. She always thinks she has everyone under control. She always starts a fight with me for a fucking no reason at all and you are still protecting her? Damn didn't know you were that toxic" I say as I go up my room.

I open the door to my bedroom and slam it, sliding down and i put my hands on my knees. Why is life treating me like this? Did I deserve this at all? No. I take a deep breath and text Amelie.

Amelie💕

"Hey Ami."

"Hey what's up?"

"Nothing just got
in a fight
with my dad"

"Awh, that's bad. Want
me to come over?"

"That would be nice.
Thank you Ami."

"Okie, see you in a bit.
Love you."

"Ly too"

20 minutes later:

I lay on my bed as I hear a doorbell ring. "I'll get it" I say running down the stairs. I open the door to reveal Amelie in a pretty pink sports bra and sweatpants. "Damn Ami. That fit." I say as i hug her. She laughs and both of us run up the stairs to my room. "So what do you wanna do now?" She asks confused. "Ugh I guess I don't know" I say as I sit down on my bed looking through my window. I quickly spot Vinnie being shirtless. Yeah Vinnie my neighbor and my bully. Two in one what a great thing. But he's hot. "Look Ami." I say showing her the window. She looks through it and she spots Vinnie being shirtless aswell. "Damn he's hot. Well Y/n you have a hot neighbor to look at. Mine are all old people" she looks down and I laugh at her. "Damn Amelie I didn't know you would say that Vinnie is hot. I've never heard you before. Its just random" I look at her and laugh. "Are you even paying attention to me?" I say to her. No response at all. "Hello, earth to Amelie" i wave my hand infront of her face and she snaps out of her thoughts. I laugh at her.

Later:

Me and Amelie are having so much fun right now. We played T or D, never have i ever and much more interesting games. Its around 5.40pm and Amelie needs to leave. "Just stay a little longer" I say while hugging her. "Nah, we have school tomorrow dumbass. Did you forgot?" She says as I raise one eyebrow. "Not surprised at all" she says putting on her bag over her shoulder. "Well thanks for coming over" I hug her one more time as we say our goodbyes. I close the front door and go to sit on the sofa in the living room. "Get ready sissy we're going over at Hackers for dinner" Josh says as my eyes widened up. "What did you say Josh? I'm not coming." I say looking back at the TV. "Who asked you if you should come or not. It's a family dinner so ofc you're coming." He says drinking some water from the bottle. "I said I'm not coming. I don't wanna be bullied again" I say as Josh sighs. "The whole family is gonna be there with you. So you're ok" he says tapping my shoulder. "Ugh fine" I say turning off the TV.
