Chapter 6

Josh's POV:

I'm just chilling in the living room with Nessa. We're watching Outer Banks. We're literally on the last episode of the first season. "Hey" someone says behind us. I turn around and see Y/n. What is she doing here? Wasn't she supposed to be at school? That's weird. "Oh hi sis. Weren't you supposed to be at school rn?" I say as I'm trying to move myself from Nessa. She was asleep on me so I didn't wanted to wake her up. "Yeah. But my stomach started hurting and I came back home" she says with a little smile. "Are you ok now? Do you need anything?" I ask as I'm moving Nessas head from my chest. "Yeah Josh I'm okay. Don't wake Nessa up" she says as she puts down her backpack. "Dont worry. Just tell me if you need anything" I slightly smile as she walks up to her room. Whats wrong with her? "What's wrong babe?" Nessa says. "Oh, everything's fine baby. Go back to sleep" I smile at her, she nods her head ok and goes to sleep again. I lay next to her spooning her and fall asleep aswell.

Y/n's POV:

"Don't worry. Just tell me if you need anything" Josh says as I walk up my room. I go inside and close the door locking it. I just wanna die. I never felt this way for someone like I do for Vinnie. I feel safe when he's around and he's smile gosh so beautiful. He was my bully but maybe he changed. Maybe he really likes me. Maybe he really regrets all the things he said and did to me. But I caught feelings for him really fast and I think that that's not a good sign at all. I just don't wanna get hurt like the previous boys I dated. Its not like dating dating like kissing and stuff. It was like kids love. So embarrassing. "Y/n" I hear someone say outside my room. "Who is it?" I ask standing up from my bed. "Its Josh" He says. "Okay" I go to the door and unlock it. "What?" I asked confused. "Oh, just wanted to tell you that Dixie and Charli are coming over for two months. They're gonna stay with us." He says as I look at him excitedly. "Wait. You're kidding right?" I ask not taking him seriously. "Nah not at all. You can ask them" He stated as he walks down the stairs to the living room. Guess Nessa is still here. Wait. No way my favorite cousins are coming here. I smile to myself and open Twitter to tweet how excited I'm to see them after 2 years.

Later:

"Are you for sure sure coming here or?" I say to Charli through the phone. I was on FaceTime with her. I wanted to ask her if they're really coming because I don't trust my brother that much. "Yes we're 100% sure we're coming" she says and I started jumping around the room. "Damn I'm so excited. After 2 years finally gonna see my favorite cousins" i say sitting down on the bed catching a breath from jumping around. "We're finally gonna be together" Charli says with a big smile. "Any drama?" She asks. "Mhm alot" I say. "Damn we missed alot" Charli says hugging Cali(her dog). "Charlii!! Dinners ready" Dixie says coming into her room. "I'm on a FaceTime with Y/n right now ill eat later" She says kissing Calis head. "You're on a FaceTime with Y/n and you didn't tell me" Dixie says grabbing the phone from Charlis hands. "Hey cuz! Long time no see" Dixie says to me leaving Charlis room. "Hey Dix. I'm glad you decided to come here for few months" I say standing up from my bed. "Well, we miss you and Josh so we wanted to pay you a visit" Dixie says putting the phone on the counter. "Well you made a great decision" I say sitting on my work chair at my desk. "So how's school?" Dixie asks putting the food on a plate. "Same. Boring" I say pulling up my notes from my backpack. "What about Vinnie? Is he still bullying you?" She asks. "Well he did until they moved next door to us" I say as Dixie looks in the phone screen surprised. "He moved in next door?" She asks confused. "He did. He also said he likes me" I say blushing alittle. I tell Dixie everything she's like my sister that I never had. I have Josh but its not the same. She always cares about me and I tell her everything. She knows every detail of me. But I'm just scared to tell her about Vinnie yet. She'll make a big deal out of it. "He said he likes you. After bullying you? Is he ok?" She asks shaking her head. "Maybe he changed. And he's not the same Vinnie he was 2 years ago Dix." I say turning on my laptop. "Well do you like him back?" She asks and I blush. "No. Of course not Dixie. He bullied me. I won't ever like someone who was making fun of me" I say turning on some music on my laptop. "Are you sure tho?" She asks and I nod my head yes. "Okay then gonna believe you this time" She says and I laugh.

We talked for ages. She asked me alot of questions about the school, the people here. I told her that everything had changed since they moved in to another state. Avani doesn't talk to us. Me and Amelie are still friends. I told her everything besides the thing with Vinnie. I'm scared to tell her because she'll make a big deal out of it. I'm gonn tell her when I'm ready. I just don't feel that me and Vinnie are going anywhere. And I just feel that what we have is wrong. I never felt this way before and thats what Dixie told me. She has never seen me this happy before. Something it someone changed me and I'm happy about it.
