i'm out with vinnie. i don't know why but i accepted his invite for a quick date. i'm in his car, i don't know where he's taking me.
"may i ask where are we going?"
"it's a surprise."
"i just wanna know."
"it will be ruined if i tell you."
"okay fine." i sighed as he gave me a smirk.
it's a long ride, 2-3 hours i think, maybe he's taking me to another state.
"i want you to put on this blindfold." he said as he handed me the blindfold.
"i'm not sure. maybe you'll kidnap me."
"nah, don't worry. there's nothing to be scared of."
"okay if you say so." i said as i put the blindfold over my eyes.
i don't know why i put this blindfold but oh well.. we're gonna find out.
*skip to 15 minutes later*
"are we there yet?"
"yes, we are here. don't take of your blindfold."
"oh, crap."
"stop, you're gonna love it." he said as a small smile appeared on my face.
"okay."
he stopped the car and i felt relieved.
"we're here. let me help you out."
he stepped out of the car and opened the door on my side of the car. he held my hand as i stepped out of the car.
he led me to the surprise and went to lock the car.
"vinnie?" there was no reply.
"vinnie! where are you?" i yell.
"i'm here. i'm locking the car." he replied.
after he locked the car, he put his hands on my waist and guided me through out the whole path.
"don't take it off yet!" he said as he took his hands of my waist and started moving something
"vinnie. what are you doing?"
"just wait love."
he started a slow music and took my hands walking as he stopped at a certain place.
"take it off." i shake my hands off his so i could take off the blindfold
i take off my blindfold to see vinnie standing down on one knee.
i couldn't control myself as i started tearing up.
"my love." he said as he interlocked our hands.
"vinnie. i can't believe this."
"love. when I first moved to this neighborhood, I didn't think I would meet a person like you here, I had no hope.. but when you appeared in front of me, I knew you were the love of my life. from the beginning things between us were very complicated, I didn't know how to treat you because I was in love with you for a long time. now I have that opportunity to call you beloved, to call you the love of my life. I have the opportunity to wake up every morning next to you. y/n.. let me love you as I have loved you before and as I will love you in the future. y/n, my love, the woman of my life... will you make me the happiest and marry me?" he said his last words as he picked up a red small box from the pocket and opened it.
when i saw the ring my eyes started tearing up.
"vinnie."
"y/n. will you marry me?"
"yes, yes, yes one thousand times yes!!" i said as he took out the ring out of the box and put it on my finger.
as soon as he stood up from the floor i hugged him tight. i couldn't believe that now i was his wife.
"i love you, y/n."
"i love you." i said as i kissed him.
we kissed as fireworks lit up. this couldn't be any more perfect than it was.
"i'll never leave you. i promise." he said as he touched my forehead with his.
as he pulled away we heard a loud applause coming from the yard. when i turned my head i saw all of our friends and family surrounded by the fireplace.
i laughed and touched my forehead with vinnie's again.
if someone asked me what a perfect life is. i'd say this. being married to the love of your live, your soulmate. having all your friends and family around you all the time. having happy memories everywhere you go. fireworks. fireplace. love. lust. every positive word.
i'm happy that i found and married a man, soulmate, best friend and most of all MY OTHER HALF.

Unfortunatly, that's it for this story. i really enjoyed writing it.
i'm kinda sad to be honest. never thought this day would come, to end my favourite story.
