I run down the stairs and enter the kitchen to see my mom putting on lipstick in front of the mirror.
"Mom. What are you doing?" I ask, as she continues.
"I'm getting ready sweetie. We're going out with Maria and Nate." My mom says making my eyes widen again. "You aren't ready sweetheart. Go get ready, we don't want to be late."
"No, mom i don't want to come." I say, making her look at me.
"I didn't ask if you wanted to come or not. They want you and Josh there, so Vinnie and Kio wouldn't be alone." She says, turning to the mirror again.
Oh shit. Kio. No, no, no i can't let this happened. He can't see that me and Vinnie are getting close. I have to warn Vinnie.
"Okay, mom. I'm gonna go get ready. I'll he down in 10." I say, running up the stairs to my room.
